Making the trip to ballpark #15 this month.

I was wondering if there is a place outside the park where you can catch the home or visiting players entering the stadium? I have a 2005 World Series ball signed by a few White Sox and was wondering if I should bring it with me to try and get Jon Garland or Mark Buehrle to sign.

I know some places have a good opportunity and some don't.

Any other recommendations about the stadium would be great. Especially the food. :)

Sorry about that typo. First off I hope you enjoy US Cellular Field it is one of the underrated ballparks in MLB and home of my White Sox :-)

You might want to call the front office prior to visiting, but the players parking lot is adjacent to Gate 1 or Gate 7 in the OF area. It's gated off but you will have autograph opportunities.

As far as the food goes the White Sox have the best food & variety of food in all of the MLB parks. Take a walk around the lower deck concourse before the game and you'll see they have something for every taste.

Please note that they require you to have a lower deck ticket in order to walk the lower deck (and they do enforce this).

Other suggestions would be to check out the OF concourse- there are statues of former White Sox greats lined along the OF. You'll also notice two blue seats amongst the sea of green. The blue seat in the LF bleachers is where Paul Konerko hit his Grand Slam in Game 2 of the 05' World Series; the blue seat in the RF bleachers is where Scott Podsednik hit his walk off HR in the same game.

Another spot to check out prior to the game is the 2005 tribute outside the park- there are bricks aligned throughout that detail the teams history. Also has a tribute to the players with retired numbers. Pretty cool.

Any other questions about the park please let me know. There's a lot to see so if you want some more specifics I'm happy to help!

Thanks for the reply, but my trip is to Toronto. I am a White Sox fan and I have an 05 WS ball and the day I am going the Rockies are playing the Blue Jays. Just wanted to know if there is a good spot at the park to try and catch Jon Garland or Mark Buehrle entering the stadium.
