Making plans for an extended Labor Day weekend. Will take in a game at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City on Friday evening and an afternoon game at Busch Stadium in St. Louis on Sunday. Any suggestions for the best sections to sit in? Will especially want to be out of the sun for Sunday's game. Thanks in advance for any assistance you can offer!

I sat in the sun on a hot Sunday in St. Louis. Very good choice.

If it is hot try to get tickets to the Redbird Club. You can go into the air conditioning. Nice section a bit on the high side for cost. Don't mind the heat Infield Pavilion 1st base has great seats view of the Arch. I think seats are in the shade during that time of the day. Stay away from the outfield unless its cool. I have not been to Busch since 2012 can't wait to see Ballpark village and the Cardinals Hall of Fame.

The left field porch at Busch is covered and in the shade. Redbird Club, as Bobby & Kelly mentioned, offers the benefit of being able to escape into the a/c, and the back rows are covered/shaded there too.

Also, if you are so inclined, many of the all inclusive areas have access to air conditioned areas. The AT&T Rooftop at Ballpark Village is great, and a ticket there also includes admission to the Cardinals Hall of Fame & Museum.

I was just at Busch on a very hot day. The MetroLink offers almost direct access to the stadium at a reasonable price. Try for Redbird Club seats. If not, sit on the first base loge seats. Covered from the sun, and pretty good seats for a reasonable price.

Just returned from a weekend in Cincy, where we saw the D-backs triumph over the Reds (6-3). Loved Great American Ball Park! Looking forward to more bat and ball action in Kansas City and St. Louis. Thanks for all the input!
