Mobile App/Web Site For Planning MiLB/MLB trip.

Hi:

I'm thinking of creating a mobile app and/or web site that I would find useful, and I'm wondering if anyone else around here would, too.

Basically, it would be a Baseball Trip Planner. It would work a bit like http://www.baseball-roadtrip.com/ but in addition it would:

1 ) Be available as an iPhone/Android app, as well as a mobile-friendly web site.
2 ) Include all minor league teams/parks, too, and not just Triple-A
3 ) Let you specify a starting point (i.e., home)

And from there, it would let you specify the trip details (i.e., I want to be gone no more than 7 days in June, and drive no more than 200 miles a day, and would like to see as many baseball games at different stadiums as possible), and it would offer trip suggestions, like:

Day 1 - June 10, 2015 - Camden Riversharks @ 7pm
Day 2 - June 11, 2015 - Reading Phillies @ 7pm
Day 3 - June 12, 2015 - Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs @ 1pm, Binghampton Mets @ 7pm
etc.

Would anyone around these parts find something like this useful? Or maybe someone is already aware of and app or web site that does this?

Any/all feedback is welcomed!

Thanks,
Kevin

Seems like a good idea. Probably would be a good tool for this website to have. Let us know if you ever create it.

Hey Kevin! It's a great idea and one we have looked into. The costs to build this are beyond our budget at this time. I love what the guys do over at baseball-roadtrip.com and an app is a necessary addition. I know our members would find this useful so keep us updated on your progress.

Hardballpassport has a roadtrip planner kind of like this - Planner.

On a map you list your start and end points, list the dates and it will show you all the MLB and MiLB games along the way. It also calculates the mileage and approximate fuel costs. You may have to sign up as a member to use but it is highly recommended.

The site also helps me keep track of all my ticket stubs.

John - wow - thanks! That looks very similar to what I was envisioning!

My history teacher showed me this one which lets you pick a starting stadium and date, and it calculates seeing all 30 in 30 days. Very cool.
