So I had originally planned to go to Boston in September to see the Blue Jays play there, but because my friends suck I had to scratch that plan.

So now I'm trying to plan a trip to Seattle July 29th - August 3rd, I've taken a look at the chaser guide and have seen some good info. But I was hoping some of you had some good tips on where to stay and what to do there. I'd prefer a hotel that is walking distance to Safeco, but the hotels listed in the moderate budget plan are all over $200/night which I think is a tad crazy and would highly prefer to be well under that.

Any tips?

Just looked on hotels.com and the Pioneer Sq. Best Western we recommend is $189 per night. What is your budget? Anything walking distance from Safeco is going to be real expensive- unless its a dump!

Yeah that could work. I was having trouble finding that hotel on that site for those dates though, I'll look again.

We were hoping to spend $900-1000 each for the flight and hotel. I've looked around for some flights and we can get those for about $460 each. If that hotel rate includes taxes and all that garbage that would put us right on budget around $930ish which would be great.

its tough finding a decent hotel for under $150 in the peak of summer, but i would try www.hotwire.com

Safeco is less than 15min walk from most downtown hotels and there's tonnes of bars/restaurants for pre-post game.  myself as well as many other Jays fans will surely be driving down from Vancouver so the Jays fans will be well represented.
