    Hey Craig,

Is it possible to add pins for minor league stadiums on the ballpark map?
  • Yankeebiscuitfan

First of all Stater Bros Stadium in Adelanto, Ca. I have seen my first and only MiLB game there. And also Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery, Al.
  • Jim

Thanks for the welcome and the info.
I'm doing a Mets/Philly/O's trip next week starting Wed @ Citifield
    Great website

This is a great site! I've got a roadtrip planned in August to see Cubs-Cards at Busch and Yankees-Royal in KC. I'll also see a game at Coors Field in September. That will bring me up to 11 of the current major league stadiums!
  • Stephanie (22)

Thanks for the welcome. Amazing site! Found it completely by accident... I wish I had found it a long time ago. :)
  • Stephen Suder

Thanks. I'm heading out to PNC Park next week. I'll be adding more photo's this week. Great site.
  • Terra (28/34)

Yes, thanks for asking! Cincy, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Detroit, and hopefully a return visit to Minneapolis to see the new Target Field, are all on the schedule for July. :)
  • Terra (28/34)

I am certainly looking forward to it! It looks like you've been to Great American, anything I have to see or do while I'm there?
  • chris callow (17)

    Thanks Craig.
I just knocked the Chicago's and Milwaukee out. In two weeks I've got a "business" trip that's going to wipe out Rogers Center, Comerica, and Dodger Stadium (already been there, LOVE Dodger Dogs, best ballpark food ever!)
  • Tim Grosjean

Hi Craig. Thanks for welcoming me. I just got back from an east coast trip with my family that added four mor to my total. DC, Baltimore, Philly, and the Mets. The West coast parks are going to be the hardest.
  • Dean Triplett

    Thanks for welcoming me, Craig!
  • Dean Triplett

If you ever decide to visit Turner Field-send me a message-we'll give you a place to stay! (We live about 2 hours from Turner Field, one hour from the Tenn. Smokies Ballpark (AA-Cubs), and one hour from the Asheville Tourists (A-Rockies))
  • Terrell Kent Holmes

Thanks for the welcome, Craig. I just got back from a west swing during which I visited Chase Field, Angels Stadium and Dodger Stadium. The cities I haven't been to at all are Miami, Arlington and San Diego. I've been to Tiger Stadium, The Metrodome and old Busch Stadium but not Comerica Park, Target Field or new Busch. So I guess that's three cities and six stadia left. I hope to see all the missed cities by the end of 2011.
  • Jamie Prescott

Thanks! I'm super excited!! I've been waiting for a site like this! It took me a long time to find it tho :( but I'm here now!!
  • Chorizo16

Thanks. Will add a lot more stuff probably after the trip. UNC Bears huh? My g/f's son goes there and is on this trip with me.
  • Albert A Plante Sr

    Thanks for the welcome, Craig.
  • nicky

    Thank you!
  • John Sharp

Thanks, man is this cool. I've been going to ball parks since 1967, when at the age of 7 my Uncle Bob took me to Tiger Stadium.

I love baseball, and am now starting to write blogs. I'm very new to the web, and i just love this stuff.

Good to be amongst true baseball fans.

    Thanks Craig
  • Bobby Alvarado

yea craig i am doing all the ballparks in one year!! i got 5 left after kaufmann stadium...which doesn't seem to have public transportation from downtown KC! I might have to cab it for 30 bucks :?(
  • Doug Chapin (28)

Cincinnati and Tampa - just picked up a work trip to Indianapolis in late September so weather permitting I'll get to GAB ... currently looking into trips to Tampa - perhaps when Rays and Yanks square off in early September.

Then I sit back and relax until the Marlins open their new stadium in 2012 :)

Or, I follow through on my threat to see a professional game in a 50 states.
  • Felix Salazar

Great pictures of the Mets and Yankees ballparks. We went in 2008 and visited the old ball parks of New York.
  • Ken Lee (30/43)

Ok, the cliff notes-ish version of what happened is that I was left tickets at Will Call for last nights game, 4 tix. I got to the game a bit late (we had been up in Hollywood and well, traffic!). So I get my tickets with no problem, I head in, no problems. I was in the Terrace MVP section ($77 seats), so I made my way up 1 escalator to that section and stopped at the usher and handed him my ticket. He looked at it, looked at me and said (loudly) "Who are you with?" I said "Just me" (only handed him 1 of the 4 tickets) and he said it again. So I said "I am by myself". He pointed at the ticket and said "You have to be with someone to get a ticket like that, who are you with?" I really didn't understand the question, so I said, again, "I am by myself right now, what does it matter?" He once again pointed at the ticket, this time to the price of the ticket, where it read "0.00" as the price and said, "To get these tickets you have to be with someone, who are you with??" Finally I was done with this guy after this, and I said, "I don't see where it matters, but I was left tickets at will call, I showed my drivers license and they gave them to me." He said, "Hmmm!" and asked me to wait as he went to talk to someone a few feet away. He returns and like a broken record says, "Who are you with?" I was pissed at that point, so I finally said, "I really don't see where any of this matters, but if you really have to know, I was left these tickets by the Anaheim Angels themselves!!" He then looked at me, his eyes got big and he said, "Come this way". He then took me to the wrong seats, go figure! He told me I had to jump over this one row into the next row. Luckily I noticed that our seat #'s were 16-19, and there was a guy in 19, so I asked him about it. That was row K, the row I was standing in was row J, where I should be. Luckily this fat boy didn't straddle that row to get back there, whatta sight that would have been... all for nothing. Again, worst!
  • Ken Lee (30/43)

Yeah, really caught me off guard that an usher would do that. I mean, why is it any of his business where I got the tickets, just that I did? Why should it matter to him that I didn't have to pay for them, but that I got them and it allowed me entrance into the park, ya know? I just chock it up to Anaheim ushers.
  • Eric J

I see you have been to both Yankee stadium and Citi Field. Which one did you like better?
I think (new) yankee stadium is built for the wealthy.
  • Steph (17+5)

Hi Craig - sorry to make you review the same blog post twice - I meant to save it as a draft only but must have chosen a posting time inadvertantly.
  • Ed Ferbel

    thx

tried to post a blog of my top 10 parks but it didn't post, any ideas what i may have done wrong?

just reading some posts below, yankee stadium looks just like the old park, so what was the point except for more luxury boxes, citifield far and away the better of the 2
  • Yuli G

Hi. Thanks for the welcome. My husband and I decided two weeks ago that we HAVE to visit all MLB and NFL stadiums before we grow old :) I've already started planning next years trip (april: marlins and rays) and sept. Chicago (will do the nfl stadium as well)
  • Dan Davies

    Thanks Craig.
  • Kerry Hebert

    Hi Craig,

Yes, I am indeed a SF Giants fan. Looking forward to an excellent series with the Philadelphia Phillies. Go Giants!
  • Andrea Jacinto

Craig, thanks for the welcome ...sorry about being so late (2 years) in returning a greeting.  Since my family and I are slowly but surely adding to the number of ballparks I want to visit this site much more often.
  • Evan (13)

Hey Craig. Thought you'd enjoy this. Check out my last status update here on Ballpark Chasers:

I'll be cashing that bet next month when I return to Tahoe for March Madness :) I'm also doing some chasing, heading to LA for Giants season opener and seeing Dodger Stadium for the firs time.

  • Evan (13)

Only $200, sadly. I had horrible odds (10:1, back at the start of the season!) because I placed the bet in Lake Tahoe, where everyone's a Giants fan. I can tell those odds were bad, because online sites have them at around 18:1 this season, after they just won the whole thing. Oh well — it'll pay for my March Madness gambling :)
  • alby wissink (17)

Our trips are on Opening Day every year. This year is number 17 and we are going to Philly. Tickets will be hard to come by, but are looking forward to seeing that stadium, that team and that city.

  • Mo & Diane

Yes! We're heading to spring training on Sunday morning...to see both the Phils & the Tigers...and then the Phils hosting the Tigers on Tuesday! We're thinking about a two week trip around the middle of the country this summer, visiting up to 7 ballparks & the field of dreams. We'll see if we're lucky enough to make that work! How about you?
  • Mark Ellingson

Thanks for the welcome. I'll be setting up my profile soon. This sounds like a great place to track my ballpark checklist.
  • Diane (10)

I just got back from Spring Training and am planning a 7 stadium road trip this summer.  How about yourself?
  • Mike Jacques

Hi, Craig. Thanks for reaching out. I am going to Nationals Stadium today to see the Nats/Braves. Planning on doing the Tampa-Miami trip as part of a cruise week in mid April. I live within a 2 hour drive of 8 minor league parks, and within a three hour drive of several more. Being a Red Sox fan, this allows me to see the entire organization if I plan it out correctly.
  • Nick DiColandrea

Thanks Craig! Actually I already did one trip to Turner Field for their Opening weekend, hitting up Durham, Asheville, Winston-Salem this weekend AND going to Memphis in 2.5 weeks! So yes lots of trips! I can't wait to blog about them for everyone! Hopefully hanging with you guys & gals, blogging on my website, and tweeting will help everyone else of their own journeys!

    What about you?! Any trips?!
  • Patrick Reyes (32)

Yes, I'm going to the final 10 stadiums that I didn't get to last season to complete the 30.
  • Walter Chung

    Thanks Craig!
  • Tim Bane

    Craig,

    Craig,

Congrats on your Mariners-interesting factoid on yeterday's home teams. So much for home field advantage!

You'll be able to hit a bunch of parks when you come to Philly or Balto.

I was glad to have found this site!

    Thanks,

    Tim

  • TBtheBEAR

Thanks Craig! My page looks a lot cleaner now...

Awesome site! A lot of great information...

Hey Craig! Great site, I have added pictures for the bparks I have been to and the Baseball HOF, Doubleday Field, Fanfest and minor league park.  I plan on going to ATL in Aug to watch the Cubs and may be making a trip to KC and STL in June.  And probably a Wrigley trip and Cincy in there too.  Any other suggestions I can do to my profile? Thanks
  • Jill Courville
