I do like your site, awesome idea!
  • Michael Dominguez

Tnx Craig. I am having a tough time using the mapping thing. I've entered in the parks that I've been to, hit the green button and not much happens. What am I doing wrong?

Also, I wonder if there is a ranking of most lifetime parks visited? I'm curious who's on top on this site. Love the site and will pass on to my friends. I've been a "Ballpark Chaser" for years, but I really never have a name for it.

It's funny. When I was in my twenties, and went to baseball stadium tours, invaribly we'd talk about stadiums visited, and I was in awe of the old guy with 25+ stadiums viewed. Now I'm the old guy!

  • Bill Briesemeister

Thanks Craig!  My stepson and I want to visit all 30.  We went to PNC last year - his first MLB game.  This summer we will hit Camden Yard and Nationals Park.  Looking forward to using this site.

  • Biking For Baseball

Definitely would love to write a piece for your site! Any size restrictions? One page of a word doc? Character limit etc? We'll get one to you soon! Thanks Craig. Heard a lot of good about your site. Excited to be a part of it!

  • Andy Scheff

Next week my son and i are going to Atlanta, then joining up with my Dad in Florida to see a game in Miami and Tampa. After that the only stadium my son and i will not have gone to is Coors Field in Colorado.

  • David

We are planning a minor league weekend in July.  Harrisburg on Friday, State College on Saturday and Reading on Sunday.   I'm also trying to talk my wife into going to see the Pirates at Indians next weekend.

Hi Craig (or possibly whatever autobot that sent me the email)...

First of all, I think your site is such a great idea, its the only one of its kind I could find.  But I do have a suggestion, if at all possible... I really think you could set up a template for a little more graphically clearer list of ballparks people have been to for their pages.  Quite simply, just a rundown list of the parks they've been to, and on each line: the ballpark, a picture of the ballpark, and then any notes the user wants to add about their trip to the ballpark (star rating, date attended, etc.)  I think it'd make for a nice read and an easier quick look for other people as to which parks they've attended.  Something like:

    STADIUMS I'VE VISITED:

(PIC OF STADIUM)  Dodger Stadium       my home stadium. Great dogs!

(PIC OF STADIUM)  AT&T Park                great retro look, extra fun for kids

(PIC OF STADIUM)  Petco Park                have to sit in sandbox in right field

Something like that.  Anyway, thanks again, ad look forward to seeing the site grow!

    best,

    Tom Huang

Craig, thanks for checking in.  I actually just got back from a visit to Camden Yards this weekend.  I am looking into a visit to Target Field to checkout the Twins and trying to confirm expenses.  Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Thanks

  • Rich Drucis

Hi Craig, I haven't gone through the site completely yet but it is AWESOME. I'm going to Target field at the end of the season and was looking for info and found your site. When I get time I'll update my page as a great way to stay organized. Thanks

  • Jennifer Duffield

Hi craig!  Just learning how to use site and introducing to my kids.  We are headed to Detroit and Cleveland this year with a possible Boston visit.  Although I have been to Fenway, my family has not so we don't count it as an official visit.  ;-)

  • Andre Miller

I'm going to see the Orioles June 23th !

  • Patrick Meighan

One question: is there some official way for me to register/log the ballparks that I've visited on my personal page?

  • Chuck Lin

Hi Craig, Great site.  I thought marlins park was nice, a little disappointed they elected not to open up the top the night I was there (it was a nice night out and only a 10% chance of rain which never materialized). At times, I felt like I was walking through an indoor mall but much better than blue jays and tropicana field.

  • Jason Polensky

Yes I am planning on trip, I am off to Toronto and Detroit on Friday!  I really love this site thanks for the information.

  • Juan C. Munoz

Hi Craig, thanks and congratulations for the website. Yes I'm planning a trip back to Houston and perhaps Dallas before season ends. But if you or anyone is coming to Guatemala and wants to go to our local baseball park I can take you, not the greatest but at least we have baseball, regards.

  • Lauren (20)

Thanks for the welcome!  My big trip this year was back in April.  I went to California to see all 5 ballparks in one trip.  I planned the trip so that I would be there when the Phillies were in San Francisco and San Diego.  It was an awesome experience!  AT&T Park was my favorite of the 5 parks in California.  Thanks for creating this site for fellow BCs to share tips and experiences.  - Lauren

Hi Craig, thanks. We r headed to comerica park end of august. People are telling us to stay at MGM hotel, Im not sure what there is to do around the park since we are not getting a car. So I'm going to gamble my money away when not at the game.lol

  • Paul J. Barnes

Thanks for your note.  I've already hit up Dodger Stadium and Citi Field this summer.  Heading down to Miami this weekend to see the new Marlins Ballpark and back to NYC in late July to see Yankee Stadium.  By the end of the summer I'll have been to 25 of the active 30 Major League stadiums.

  • Michael LaLiberte

Thanks for the welcome and for this site! I have been trying to find a site like this for a while now. I am not sure about any big trips, but I definitely will be going to Yankee Stadium this year. I might try and see Citi Field as well. I would like to get out to Chicago and go to Wrigley someday!!

  • James Bernheimer

Thanks for the welcome!  Don't know where I will get this summer (other than Oriole Park several times).  Been talking with a friend about trying to meet up in either Milwaukee or K.C....

Having some trouble with the ball park wigdet.  I paste the code but the map doesn't show up, just the code.  Can you help?

  • James Bernheimer

    Great, thanks!

  • Brandon Walker

Was at Wrigley vs White Sox.  Going to GABP for 8/18 double header.
  • Jared Putman (9)

Hi Craig! Heading to OPACY for the Legends Celebration Series this summer. Heading to Citizens Bank Park on 8/4 for D-Backs @ Phils and PNC Park on 7/21 for Marlins @ Pirates. Hoping to do a Labor Day trip to Milwaukee/Chicago Cubs but that might fall through. Thanks for the welcome message!

  • Jen Luciano

Yes one planned this week.  Leave Friday.... Head to Chicago (Cubs Game), Then To Milwaukee, then back to Chicago (Sox Game), Then to Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Philly, Mets and home.

  • Paul Silvey

Hi Craig, thanks for this site. It will be fun to read other peoples experiences, recommendations, do's and don'ts. We actually just got back from a trip last week. We did Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Baltimore this trip, giving us 24 out of 30 parks done. We actually were given this sites info from a pair Ballpark chasers we met at Philadelphia.
  • Jacqui Snyder

Hi Craig! Love this site! We went to Great American & PNC earlier this month, going to Tropicana tomorrow & Saturday! From what I've read, I'm glad it is early in my touring career, this will be my 10th and first enclosed park. We are also trying to squeeze in a trip to US Cellular later this summer.

  • Chris

Hey Craig! White Sox at Texas Rangers on Friday, July 27th! I'm hoping for another sweep! Never been there and can't wait! I'm just learning your site and so far so good!

  • Miller Family

Hey, Craig -- thanks for welcoming us.  We just found the site and are doing some exploring.  We aren't making any major league trips this summer.  We did get to see the All-Star Game and related festivities (!), however, and our 12-year-old is playing at Cooperstown and we're going to go see a Buffalo Bisons game.

  • Wendell Willsea

Thanks for the welcome, My son and I have tickets for the Reds on the 22nd, the Pirates 23rd, and the Indians on the 24th.  Play ball!

  • Greg McAtee

Thanks Craig!  No trips planned yet.  But, when I get to plan a trip, it's going to be to Pittsburgh.

Something really cool to add to this site would be former stadiums and minor league stadiums.

  • Larry Gordon

Thanks for the welcome.  I am planning on going to LA for the Dodgers/Marlins series.  As of now I don't have anything set (hotel, car etc).

I need to find a decent, reasonable hotel with free parking and wifi.

  • Rick Hardeman

    Thanks, Craig.  Looks like fun.

Hey -  I've always wondered...when you count MLB parks, is the rule of thumb that you must have actaully attended a regular-season game there?   That's always been how I personally counted it.   But how about parks you've simply been to, either driven by or maybe taken a tour?  Do people ount those?   Always wondered about that.

  • Rick Patelski

Thanks Craig. Glad I found your site. Maybe it will motivate me to get to some more ballparks. What brought me here was a discussion on the 2013 WBC. Hoping to hop to an island to catch a game.

  • Chris Logan

Thank & great website! Besides visiting Fenway (several times, our hometown team) we'll be headed to Baltimore's Inner Harbor for a couple of nights to see the Nationals one day, then the Orioles the next.  First trip to Nats, haven't been to beautiful Camden Yards in 9 years.  We'll also be in California at the end of August, where we'll see the Padres, Dodgers and Angels.

  • Gary Wolfe

Leaving tomorrow with my two sons to go see the Brewers play the Reds in Cincinnati.

  • kerrell goolsby

Probably going to Turner Field for a game against Houston (w/o Carlos Lee) in August.

  • Michael J Thomas

Thanks for the note Craig. I am not too much into social media but like this site. I can join all the other nut jobs who go across the country to see all the baseball parks. I started some years back with my dad and he recently passed away in December. For the past couple of years, I have been taking my son. I will see about adding some nice images as well as other information that might be of interest. Looking to shoot out to Washington, Baltimore and Philadelphia in the next couple of weeks. Stay tuned. Again, thanks for the note and hope to be posting stuff soon. MT

  • Jim Wood (46 MLB)

Craig I love the new mobile format! So much easier to use....

Thanks for doing such a great job with this website. I enjoy coming here and meeting people with similar interests!
  • Frank DeGennaro

    Hi Craig,

Cool site. My daughter and I are completing our quest by August 22 with trips to Colorado, Anaheim, Oakland and Seattle. It's been a great run for both of us.   Glad to be on your site.

    Frank

  • Brian Fellows

living in Atlanta, my son and I found it easy to visit all the spring training sites in Florida over the years.  It was a great experience and an incredible bonding opportunity.  Now that he is older (15), we have decided to visit all the major league parks.  This year we have been to Yankee Stadium, Fenway Park, and PNC park in Pittsburgh.  Thanks for such a great site.

  • Kelli Hargreaves

Made one trip already to see Lincecum in Pittsburgh.  Awesome ballpark and great cheap seats!

  • Will Jackovich (19)

Hey Craig, Just got back from a trip to Cincinnati this Wednesday and Thursday to see my Padres!  Awesome park and the coolest ushers.  Two ushers hooked me up with a seat 15 rows behind home plate.  I was also at the hotel the Padre players stayed at and had a couple of beers with some of them at the hotel bar.  Overall, good experience!

  • Bill Pritchard (29)

Will, how did you get down near the plate? I'm tentatively going to Cincinnati in two weeks and wanted to try and get some decent seats.

  • Dave and Alex Kaplan (30)

Thanks, great site.  Kauffman and Busch were great.  98 degrees and humid but blue skies and great baseball.  St. Louis is a baseball town, KC, not so much.  Honored the '82 World Series team in St. Louis - got to see all the greats - Hernandez, O Smith.  Go to Pappy's BBQ in St. Louis.  Long lines but worth the wait for real BBQ.

  • Derek Stapinski

Thanks Craig appreciate it.  I went to AT&T in early May and loved it, was surprised at how small the concourses were.  Hope to get to LAA Angels or Dodgers stadiums at some point in September.  Love the site so far, great work!

  • Ryan Swift

Checking off Cincinatti next month! Thanks!
  • Jason Miller

Thanks for the welcome.  It has been a great year for visiting ballparks.  I try to hit one every year, but this year I have checked off Nationals, Pirates, Tigers, Dbacks, and soon the Braves.  Great site!

  • PJ Gustafson

Thanks! No, I went to Safeco years ago when I was up there. Nice park, best beer selection in all of MLB. Kind of bummed I didn't go last week - the night I would have gone was the night Felix threw his perfect game!
  • Bart Wilhelm (311 total/41 MLB)

Since I went to all 30 parks in 2007, I had to drive to miami back in April to see the new ballpark. Caught 9 minor league parks on the way. Also drove to Birmingham for the annual Rickwood Classic. Tried to see 3 Appalachian League games last month. Drove all the way to Virginia and all 3 were rained out.

  • David Unruhe

Nothing special this summer, just Giants, Sacramento River Cats, and Reno Aces, all great stadiums.
2013 will be Nationals Park and Camden Yards in July, and Petco in spring or september.
