Great trips this year so far. Marlins Park Opening Day was fantastic (you must see the BobbleHead Museum) and we finallly sat up in the Ivy League Rooftops for the Sunday Night Cubs-Red Sox game at Wrigley in June. I have been to 14 parks so far.
Thanks for the words of welcome. Very excited to find a place to chronicle our journey. We've visit two parks this Summer, and already have next Summer planned. Thanks for creating this site!
I haven't started posting photos yet but will plan to when I get everything in order. I have been to all but one park (Toronto) and have had a great time over the years. I do have a concern. I received a request to send someone a note that "viewed my posting" Since I haven't posted anything yet, I am thinking someone is hacking in to the sight. If you want additional information, let me know. In the meantime, I do not plan on sending anything back. Thanks for hte feedback when you have a chance.
Thanks for the welcome. No trips planned this summer - however, lining one up for next year to include Cactus League ball and hopefully the D-backs (to cross them off the list).
We have one more trip scheduled for this year-Miller Park and US Cellular Field, last weekend of the season. Then, waiting on MLB to release next year's schedule to plan more trips. Enjoy your site.
Thanks Craig.Glad to be a part of Baseball Chasers.I am from Chicago and I am a huge Toronto Blue Jays fan.I try to make it to at least 3 Blue Jays road series a year.I have been to road series in Milwaukee and Miami this year and have not made plans for my next road series yet.I just saw the T.B.Jays 2013 schedule which was just released and I already have my 3 road trips for next year mapped out.It is 3 ball parks that I have been waiting to see for a while now: AT&T Park in San Francisco,Petco Park in San Diego and Minite Maid Park in Houston. These are 3 parks I have been dying to see.I am real big on watching day games and night games. Also, looking forward to watching a game in Minute Maid with the roof open and closed.Take care Craig.
It depends on how much time you have to devote to a trip there are plenty. I'll list a few options below; one thing I like to is find a day game following the previous night. That way you can fill in two parks within 24 hours and if needed only make it an overnight trip.
Boston, NY Yankees, NY Mets, Philadelphia
Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington
Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Detroit, Toronto
Cleveland, Detroit, Chicago White Sox, Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee Brewers
Milwaukee Brewers, Chicago White Sox, Chicago Cubs, St. Louis Cardinals
San Diego Padres, LA Angels, LA Dodgers. Depending on time maybe Arizona Diamondbacks
Hey Craig, sorry I didn't reply to you sooner; the trip was amazing but very time-investing! Looking forward to being a better part of the community now that i've finished my summer trip of seeing all 30 parks.
Hey Craig! Thanks for the kind welcome to the community. I am taking a road trip to LA next week to catch the last home Angels game of the year! I want to see Trout play a game during his Harolded rookie season. Also am a big fan of Albert (if u didnt notice from my profile pic) and will be excited to see him play. Wish he would have stayed in the NL with the cards so i could see him play more often but oh well. Ballpark number 3 here I come!!!
Thanks for the welcome! We got 4 total in this year (Rangers, Houston, Angels & Padres) and plan to do small road trip in the spring to knock out the Royals and Cards and then a large trip to the NE in July! Plan to get in 5-6 stadiums then.
Hey Craig, thanks for welcoming me to the Ballpark Chasers family! My 2012 season was pretty good! I got the opportunity to visit Miller Park on April 17 for a Brewers walk-off win against the Dodgers and on the Fourth of July for a miraculous come-from-behind extra-inning win for the Marlins. Next year, my buddy, Kyle, and I are doing all 30 ballparks in 30 days in what we are dubbing "The Mega 30 in 30 Tour". More details will be available when the days get closer.
Well, my buddy and I want to do the 30 in 30 sometime between August 1 and September 22 and we want to end the journey at Miller Park. Our original plan has us flying a total of four times, but if at all possible, we don't want to fly at all. Can it be done? And if so, how? It doesn't matter where we start - just as long as we end at Miller Park on or before 9/22.
I just bought the book, and I'm gonna start reading it once I get off of work! Kyle and I are probably gonna be researching more ways to pull this trip off, but if you come across any ideas for us, let me know. Thanks again!
Thanks. You weren't able to see but I'm more a collector of minor league parks, having been to more than 60 in the past seven years. This was after having gone only to major league parks since 1962. Thanks for having a site like this.
Hey Craig. Planning on visiting all 30 ballparks and 32 football stadiums in 15 years or less. Glad to see that AT&T is your favorite as this will be one of the ballparks we will be visiting next year. The site has already been a lot of help.
Hey Craig, Thanks I would like to know how I get the numer next to my name. My 2012 season brought me to 4 parks which was a amazing. We did a repeat of the two here in our hometown from 2011 but that's all the fun for the love of the game. 5 down 25 to go.
Hi Craig good to be here. 2012 was a good season. Got to witness both Cy Young winners and the AL ROY. My profile pic was taken at the remaining wall of Forbes Field in Pittsburgh. I'll definitely have to share some pictures!
Thanks for the welcome. Yes, I'm planning something for 2013. Maybe hit some of the 7 parks that I'm missing still. Also, I was thinking about just going for it, and do 30 for 30 while driving. Do you think that's possible?
What's the best way to figure out the 30 for 30 logistics? I'm hoping there's a better way than to simply open up a schedule book try different combinations. If you have any advice, I'd very much appreciate it.
Thanks for the welcome! Yes, I definitely have plans for trips this year; I have tix for a Mets game & plan to see the Giants, A's, & Braves as well. From what I've seen so far, this is an AWESOME site & should offer me plenty of insights for future trips!
Hey Craig - we are doing a week in Arizona for Spring Training and then we have a trip planned for Boston/New York in September. Probably a few trips to KC, Minneapolis or Chicago as well. Thanks for the welcome.
Craig - Yes, I stumbled across this site looking for baseball road trip advice as my brother (who just joined as well) and I are taking our dad to Fenway for the first time. We'll also be seeing games in Chicago (Wrigley), Cleveland, Baltimore, New York (Yankee) and Pittsburgh, along with a stop in Cooperstown. All but Wrigley will be new for me. I haven't done a baseball only road trip with multiple cities since 1996 so needless to say I'm looking forward to this trip! Thanks for the welcome.
Yes we are going to Spring Training 3/5 to 3/12 to Sarasota and see games at Ed Smith, (2) @ McKencknie, Jet Blue and Joker Marchant stadiums. We got decent seats for each game but now a friend wants to go along and I have been scrambling to get single seats at the games we are going to. I have seen tickets on line so I guess today I will be purchasing singles. Have you been to any of these stadiums? any advice? Nothing is too small a detail. I have obtained enough information, I could be considered a "hoarder" on Spring Training for the four parks and the surrounding area. If you have locations to dine as well that would be great
Yes - we go annually (this will be our third time). We have family in Mesa and we generally spend a week each spring. We have seen all the parks in the Cactus League and this year we will be catching some of the WBC pool play as well at Chase Field.
Hi, Craig. Thanks for the welcome. I would love to do a baseball trip this year, and have actually checked the schedules for the Cubs, Chisox, and Brewers. I was trying to put a trip together like one we did two summers ago: Friday night at Progressive, Saturday afternoon at Great American, and Sunday at PNC Park. No luck. We're going to Florida in March, and thought we'd be catching some Braves and Astros games. Those games at Disney are SO expensive!
Hi Craig, love this website! So glad I found it :) My best friend from college (that's her on the left in my profile photo; I'm on the right) and I pick a city every year and meet there to go to a game. This year we're going to see the Rockies. We just bought the tickets yesterday. The Coors Stadium website said there's a beautiful view of the Rocky Mountains from the first base side so that's where we'll be! I can't wait. I'm going to send her an invitation to the site. Looking forward to reading about everybody's experiences.
A Phillies fan in south florida. I usually make a few trips to CBP each year, as well as 3 trips each summer to see the Phils at Marlins Park. I live in Jupiter, home of spring training Marlins and Cards, so spend a lot of March days at Roger Dean Stadium. With retirement next year, I am planning my 30 stadium tour
As an "old timer", its tough to get used to indoor baseball. All three times last year the roof was closed. the best stadium food I have ever had... by far. Parking is in a big garage next door, and requires pre purchase parking ticket.
They really need to build up the commercial area in Little havana outside the stadium. Its a great ethnic area, and would be a huge fan hit with eating establishments.
I am a regular at 5,000 seat Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, and its great.
Hey Yeah, I've planned a Cali trip this season to San Fran, Oak and San Diego. Great Site, Helped me out a lot. The only place I have concern over is Oakland. Wondering if it's best to just stay in San Fran and get a cab to Oakland or is it worth staying in oak for one night?
thank you for your advice man, Also, I might just make the trip to Anaheim if I have time from San Diego. I'm wondering if car service would be the best option to get to Anaheim from San Diego?
Thanks Craig. Trip planned in May to see Brewers at Miller, then take the train to Chicago to see the cubs and whitesox. I have a mini plan for the Rockies at Coors Field.
Thanks! I added your awesome app to my personal site where I have been posting pictures of my quest: http://www.legal-beagle.net This site is a fantastic idea! Thanks!
Wow! Yes my wife and I just scored (through the lottery) two tickets to the Red Sox vs Yankees at Fenway Park in July. Never been to BOS so would gladly receive any tips! Thanks!
thanks. I just read about you the other night in the 30 ballparks 30 day book. I'm originally from Oregon. Last year we did Florida for spring break and saw some games there. This year no plans yet, but will get to a Royals game and hopefully Denver when the Dodgers are there. Gary

Somehow despite it being the 2nd closest park to me I have never caught a game in Houston. I plan on going there for opening night against the Rangers.
I also have a trip planned to visit both Chicago parks when the Rangers are playing the Cubs in April. I wish I had found this website sooner and realized how close Milwaukee was or I would get that park in too. Unfortunately I already have my flit booked and can't get the extra park in this time.
I just noticed your home park is Safeco. I visited there last year and enjoyed the park. I love the access fans have to the bullpen. Probably my favorite part of that visit. .
Thanks for the welcome, Craig. Found the site while planning a trip for this Summer. Me and my buddies turn 40 this year so we're doing a Mid-West Midlife Crisis Baseball Road Trip. Hi Craig, really enjoying the site you founded. What a great community.
I have been working at the list over the past four years with my two sons. Our 2012 baseball trip covered parks #24 to 28. The trip is documented in my blog at: http://wayland01778.net/Wayland01778.net/BBT12.html
Also, pictures of the 28 we have visited are on this page: http://wayland01778.net/Wayland01778.net/30_MLB_Parks.html
All the best,
