We are taking a baseball trip in July to DC-NY to see the Nats-Dodgers, Braves-Mets, and Rays-Yankees. My daughter lives in DC so I've seen the Nats quite often, but this will be our first trip to NYC to see the new parks. That makes numbers 18 and 19, and I hope to squeeze one in in September (we're looking at Atlanta) so that we'll have an even 20 by the end of the year. We try to go to at least 2 games for each venue (usually more), as we like to experience different views of the park, and frankly like to see the fans' reaction to both wins and losses.

  • Tiffany Major

Thanks for the awesome welcome! Heading to Miami in April for Phillies/marlin's April 12...up to Fenway for May 27th Sox/phillies on the Monstah! !! Super excited!

  • Scott Pothier

Thanks! My lifelong goal will be to visit every MLB stadium, but it will be tough, since I'm in Canada haha. This Summer, I'd like to do Washington, Baltimore and Philly.

  • JOEL RYAN

Hello craig thank you for the welcome. I am going in april to start my 6 park run. The dates are:

    April 22 Washington vs Cardinals
    April 23 Orioles Vs Toronto
    April 24 Phillies vs pirates
April 25 Mets vd Dogers (day game)
    Yankees Vs Toronto (night game)
April 26 Red Sox Vs Houston
April 29 Cooperstown Hall of fame

Then at the end of the season I will see all three Houston Vs Yankee Games At Minutemaid park. I think it a great start to chasing all 30 Ballparks. What does everybody think?

  • Ashley MacLennan

Thanks Craig! I'm actually going to 6 parks this year! (Minneapolis again, Kansas City, Washington DC, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, and Cleveland)

  • Bob

Thanks Craig! Philly in May. Tampa in July. the two New Yorks in September!

Thanks for the welcome, Craig. I am going to visit a couple this summer. Atlanta on May 19th, as a side stop on a business trip, Oakland on April 28th, and Seattle on August 7th. Still working out the details on a quick hit to Cinci.

If you are ever in town to see the Jays, let me know! 2013 World Series Champs!

  • Glen Pace

Hi, Craig !!! This is a really neat website that you have going here. First series this year, we are headed to the 4 game series against the Giants at Wrigley 4/11 - 4/14. Buy you a beer if you are around !!!

  • Coach Ray

Hey Craig, new to the site but having fun. My 9 year old son and I try to make one long trip and hit 2 stadiums a summer. Our (local) team is the Angels so were going to Wrigley in July for 2 games. Unfortunately, the white socks are not in town, but we'll tour the ballpark anyway. Any tips on Chicago? never been there but always wanted to go.

    Ray
  • Pat Thomson

    Hi Craig,
We haven't finalized our plans yet, but hoping to see the Cleveland and Cincinnati stadiums this summer. We have used your website in the past to find hotels and parking suggestions. Always a pleasure to use and has really worked out well for us. My daughter and I travel together and hope to check off every park one day.
    Thanks
    Pat

  • Chris Navarrete

    Hey Craig,
Let me begin by thanking you for creating the website! I have a few trips set up for this season. Going down to Petco Park in June then to down to NY to visit both Yankee and Citi Fields. Any tips or suggestions for my up and coming visits?
    Thanks again!
    Chris GO GIANTS!!!!!

  • Bryan Bull

Thanks Craig. I will continue my ballpark journey when I return to the states this year or next. Currently, I am stationed and living in Belgium and miss live baseball. I joined your site when I happened upon a thread exclaiming issues with the MLB.tv apps on LG tvs, which was working well last year, but is broken this year. If you hear of any resolutions to this, I would appreciate a post. Be well my baseball friend. -Bryan

  • Bryan Bull

Called them, but got the, it's an LG problem, called LG and they say it's MLB. Hard to say what the issue is, but neither were very helpful. Hoping they get it corrected soon though. Watching Cardinal games on my 15in laptop just isn't the same as on my 60" tv. :) -Bryan

  • Ken Edwrards

Big one planned for next week, which is why I signed up!

    April 15 - Boston
    April 16 - NYY
    April 17 - Baltimore
    April 18 - Philly
    April 19 - NYM

Will be logging it here hopefully!

  • Barry Dykstra

Already made a trip to Comerica Park - Planning on Target Field or Miller Park this summer!

  • Jim Edwards

    Thanks for the welcome!
Yes.....My buddy Tim Warnock - also a Ballpark Chaser - and I are headed for LA for a couple of Dodgers games Memorial Day Weekend then the wife and I are headed foe San Fran in July. Gonna try to tack on another in August...just not sure where. I have 22 down and 8 to go.
Took in a Nashville Sounds game this past Sunday....Triple A affiliate of the Brewers -
Is it true that there are some Ballpark Chasers that meet up at games just to compare notes? I think that would be cool.....
    Thanks for this great website!

  • Angelia Christian

Headed to Florida to do some visiting with family. I think I'll take in a Marlins game while there. Any advise on taking two toddlers and two teenagers to the game?

  • Angelia Christian

Thank you my friend. I just got tickets to the game for less than 100.00 for all of us :)
The pizza special on Firework Friday!
It's gonna be a blast! This will be only my second Ball Park :) on my way to 30!

    Thanks!!!!

  • Russ Sheriff

Hi Craig. Had a great time at Petco then flew to Oakland for the A's/Tigers 12 inning game friday. Best game I've seen in a long time.

  • Tim O'Keefe (8MLB/11MILB/4OLD)

Great website. Just posted my first blog post regarding my first trip this year to a few parks. Great venue to leverage when going to a new park as I did when went to Chicago. Thanks.

  • Becky Abernathy

    Hi Craig,

My boys are headed to Wrigley, US Cellular and Miller Park in June. We will officially hit Turner Field this summer, and they may sneak in a quick weekend trip in July.

We love the site, and it has been so helpful. Keep up the great work!

    Thanks,
    Becky
  • Max McCumber

Craig....thank YOU for this website! Ballpark chasing is my hobby. Started 2013 by going to Atlanta and than AAA in Memphis. In August, headed to Boston and New York. Fenway, been there all too briefly in 2005, just hope Boston is okay after what happened. In NYC looking to take some asterisks off: went to Shea a long time ago and the old Yankee Stadium, but not Citi Field or the new Yankee Stadium. Luckily both Mets and Yanks are in town that week!
  • Doug Smith

Hi Craig....Yes...this is our 4th annual. Been to 16 MLB parks to date and this year we're headed south...Atlanta, Tampa and Miami...with a side trip to Rickwood Field in Birmingham Ala..can't wait...any advice on these?

  • Wil McBride

Craig, thanks for the note. I'm keeping quiet until I visit current ballpark # 30, Toronto, in about a month's time. After that I suppose the question becomes what's next, but all in due time.

  • Jane Erickson

Craig, thanks for the site and for the welcome. Miller Park was nice, my team getting swept was not. I am trying to get to Colorado this season to complete my NL West portion of this quest.

  • Benjamin Lyons

Hi Craig, Thanks for the warm welcome. I will be out in southern CA in about a month so I'm hoping to do a Padres, Dodgers, Angels triptych. I'll also do the "near NJ" teams officially (I restarted my counter and want to do all the teams and buy a branded baseball from each): Caps, Os and Phillies (boooooooo). I'll try and do a difficult one too and maybe take vacation somewhere.

  • Benjamin Lyons

It's just the team logo, the real simple plain ball with an embossed logo (and a $10 price tag for good measure!!!). I then write the game date on the ball and the vs. team in sharpie. As I only have two at the moment, they are on my desk but my end-goal is to have a fish tank full of them; no water and fish obviously :)

  • Michael J. Torson

Thanks Craig! I am going to Atlanta in June. I'm hoping to do something else around September. Maybe Boston, but if that doesn't work out, I may hit up a few Midwest League Stadiums in Iowa and Illinois. Great websit!

  • Max McCumber

Great thanks, oh forgot to mention Phoenix one weekend in June to see relatives and the Giants vs. the D-Backs. 4th of July SF for the weekend with the Dodgers in town. Then East Coast in August. I usually try to play it seasonall for the best weather for the price of admission; because so much energy goes into me purchasing a single game ticket, reduce the odds of rain delays. Although with the domes/retractable roofs that wouldn't apply.
  • Kyle Brantley

Thanks for the shout out, Craig! I don't have any major trips planned yet for the summer, but my gut says that I'll get to 2 new parks this summer (along with Marlins Park multiple times...it's a great time to be a student in Miami. $1 tickets to see MLB baseball?? Yes please).
I'll let you know if I have any suggestions for the site as I start to use it more over the next few months. Seems like a great community you guys have on here!

  • Jim & Amber Hayes (18)

Thanks Craig, love that you've setup this community!

We have a trip to Toronto planned this summer for when the Rockies play the Blue Jays and we are going to swing through Pittsburgh that same trip!

Do you have any trips planned this summer?

  • Arty Ocho-Cuatro

Thank you man, It was a great show. Once we have the show edited and put up on Itunes, I'll send you the link. Thank you again

  • Jim & Amber Hayes (18)

Time is precious with two kids! We are Rockies fans and have found it is fun visiting a new stadium and traveling with your team when possible.

Looks like you have already been to Coors Field but if you are ever in Denver and want to go to a game we have good seats.

    Have a great day!

  • Wally Cronin

Thank you for the warm welcome and thank you for the site. I stumbled upon it at about the same time that I found out that I am attending a conference in Toronto in July. Your ballpark guide gave me more information on where to stay and what to do than the convention's hosts were able to provide! And, as a bonus, thanks again to you, I will be watching the Jays Astros game on 7/27 from my hotel room window.

    Thanks again,
    Wally

  • Gabe Pachter (9 current/3 old)

Hey Craig! This is a great site that you guys came up with. I have been counting slightly differently (based on home team) but use the official number in the parentheses. With that in mind, I was in Atlanta last month for the Final Four and made it to the Sunday matinee at Turner Field for home team #11. I will be out in the Bay Area at the beginning of June and am definitely going to hit AT&T on the 4th or 5th and possibly catch the A's on the 2nd (#12 and maybe #13). Nothing else planned for now as I am transitioning from college to the working world. Thanks for the warm welcome.

    Gabe

Thanks for the welcome! I am planning to see the Cubs play the Mariners at Safeco in late June. I will roadtrip with a friend from Portland and may keep heading north to Vancouver.

Seattle is my last west coast ballpark to visit. Next closest is Denver. So happy to find this site!

    Paula

  • PJR

That is valuable information! I will remember that as my Seattle trip planning comes together. I haven't purchased tickets yet, but from what I can tell, most seats at Safeco are pretty good. I get spoiled here in San Diego, my friends know to call me when they have an extra ticket - especially the fancy seats. :)

  • Johnny Boy

Thanks for the welcome Craig.. Great site.. very informative!

  • Rachel Ann Ramsarran

Thanks for the welcome. I am hoping to visit Fenway, Camden Yards, Petco and Dodgers stadium. I am only following the Yankees on my quest to attend ball parks so it will take time.
  • Jessica

Thanks for the welcome! Planning several trips this year.. I have a goal of hitting all ballparks A thru MLB, so it's going to take me a little time! :) This year I've got Detroit, then Appleton/Milwaukee/Chicago(WS)/South Bend; then St. Louis in September. And of course a few Reds games along the way! :)

  • Tom

Thank you for the welcome. You've put together a great site. The only suggestion that I have is to allow users to tag which ballpark their photos are from so that others can search for pictures from a specific park. You could possibly go so far as to allow people to list what section and row people were sitting in so that others can get an idea of what the view is from those sections. www.aviewfrommyseat.com does this well, but you have far more users on your site. I am taking a trip to California in August and hitting all 5 MLB stadiums while I am there.

  • Dave

Thanks for the welcome. We will be completing our quest later this season by driving around Lake Erie and visiting Cleveland, Detroit, and Toronto. Your site will help us with the planning.

  • Matt Lincoln (15)

Thanks for the welcome. I'm heading to Chase Field, Petco Park, Dodger Stadium, and Coors Field this season. One suggestion is to have a segment of each ballpark of where to find their signature dog. One example is the Arizona Dog in chase field, topped with cheese sauce, chorizo, and tortilla strips can only be found in section 130. When I go to the ballpark I have to have me a hot dog, and these signature dogs keep things interesting.

Hi Jessica, good luck on what will probably turn out to be a life long venture. I'm doing the same thing, only hitting the short season leagues and Indy ballparks also. I'm up to 277 with 37 planned for this year. Should have less than 20 left after this year. Four more MLB stadiums left, hitting AZ and SD next month. Would appreciate any tips anyone might care to share with me. Too bad we can't all get together somewhere for a "chasers" convention. Boy the stories that we'd share eh? Have a great summer all.

  • Bill Faber

Thanks for the Welcome. My son and I are planning a June trip to Florida and visit Tampa and Miami. That will make 15 stadiums visited, and 15 to go.

Love the site and plan on using the vast amount of knowledge you guys have compiled to make the most of the upcoming trips.

  • Jim Nelson 55/382 total

Oops sorry Craig, hadn't realized I hadn't switched back.

  • Jeff Whipple

Hi Craig. Thanks for the welcome note. A buddy and I are planning a weekend trip to Chicago and Milwaukee for a couple games. Haven't been to Milwaukee before so I'm not sure where to stay and what to do in town. Can't wait to learn more from the site.

I'm in Atlanta and will be sure to be posting for those visiting Turner Field.
  • David DArcy

Looks like a Washington Nationals Home game on the last Thursday in June.
