    Hi Craig,

Thanks for the email. I do have a couple of things. This July takin the fam to Virgina Bch/Williamsburg for a week. Of course, we are going to a Nats Game the night before we leave, and as luck would have it, they are playing our home team Padres.

My friends and I are doing another trip to San Fran in August. 3 stadiums in 3 days - August 23, Raiders - Aug 24, SF Giants - Aug 25, 49ers (last year for Candlestick Park). This will truly be a guys weekend.

I do have a suggestion, while my quest is to see all of the baseball AND football stadiums (since they are frequently close together), I would like to see you add these stadiums as well (I know this is baseball site, but it doesn't hurt to suggest). I found that you have two months (August and September) to double dip (baseball/football) and it would be great to track them all on one site. But I understand if you don't in order to stay true to baseball adoration.

As an example, my buddy and I made a trip to Minneapolis to see the the first Brett Favre/Aaron Rodgers matchup in the Metrodome (which was incredible). Coincidentally, the same weekend, the Twins were playing their last home game in the Metrodome, which was sold out, but MLB released some tickets at the last minute and we capitalized on it $25 behind third base(of course).

This brings me to my next suggestion, can you add the Metrodome as a baseball stadium visited? Given that our stage of seeing every stadium will take us awhile, some stadiums are bound to be obsolete by the time we get there (i.e. Twins now play at Target Field, Qualcomm for the Padres - now at Petco, Old Yankee Stadium, Shea, etc).

Anyways, thanks for taking the time to send me an email and being open to suggestions. ANd Congrats to those who have seen 'em all or are close to it.

  • Mike Dame

Thanks Craig. I'm looking forward to being part of this community of fans. No trips planned at this time, but did see the Tigers at Nats a couple of weeks ago.
  • Bryce Wolf

Thanks Craig! I've got 5 new parks down this season, with a trip to Baltimore coming up soon to visit my favorite park, Camden Yards. I've got a few more parks I'll be visiting this season. I'll be in Missouri from June 21-23 to see the Cards play the Rangers and the Royals play the White Sox. In July I'm getting three parks in three days: White Sox-7/3, Twins-7-4, Brewers-7/5. Those trips are for sure. I might be swinging down to Tampa on June 7th. Another possibility is Cleveland on 9/4 and Cincinati on 9/5. There might be another trip to the west coast in my future, which would allow me to get either the Dodgers, A's or Mariners...but that depends on my work travel schedule.

Thanks for letting me join your Frat. I was wondering if you would be open to doing a radio interview sometime over the phone. I host a weekly radio show called Obscure Depths on http://dakotasportsfm.webs.com/ at 6pm CST every Wednesday. We could promote your site and just talk baseball!

    email me at caketown38@yahoo.com

  • Rik C. (26)

Thanks for the welcome! Three new parks scheduled this Summer - Cleveland (this Saturday), Pittsburgh and Tampa Bay!
  • Ian Power

Thanks! cool site. This weekend I'm going to NYY @ LAA, and I'm pretty sure my bachelor party on June 28 will be a Dodger game. No new ones planned for this summer, but I move to Baltimore in July so I can't imagine not getting to Nationals Park before the end of the season.

Stupid Cardinals had to build a new Busch right after I got to the last one...

  • Gary Panons

Thanks. I live in hong kong ( i am from the uk )so trips are difficult. However I am over in July and will see a number of games. I have tickets for all three giants v dodgers games and giants v mets. The following weekend I will see Yankees v twins. In between I may go to either diamondbacks v dodgers or padres v Rockies. Is Phoenix a good place to visit ?
  • Jose Luis Santiago

Thank u. Maybe Milwaukee Texas or both LA parks cant decide lol. Going to do it August or September not sure.

  • Ann G.

Thanks! What a great website. We are headed to Cleveland on Father's Day and will follow with Detroit on 6/18 and Toronto on 6/21. We will include a visit to the Hall of Fame.

  • Robin Bond

Thank you for the welcome e mail. Yes. We were planning on New York and Boston to catch 3 parks but waited to late and the airfare went out of this world. Will save that for next year. So decided to fly to Denver and see that ball park for a game on the 16th. Our goal is to see all the MLB stadiums. I have organized a plan out so if the home games fall just right we can make more than one park during a trip. I enjoy reading ideas and comments on your site. If you have any other fun ideas of things to do and see while we are in Denver that would be great.

Hi Craig. Thanks for the message. I do have some questions for you, please let me know what the most appropriate form of communication would be. I am currently in the middle of doing the 30-stadium tour during this season. I am driving the entire way and have done eight stadiums thus far. I have a website at RoundingThird.net where people can follow the tour, but I would love to incorporate this site into my travels as well. I have several questions about this site and how I can create my page in a way that is easiest for people to follow. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks!

  • Michelle Vallet

Thanks, Craig! I love this website. My daughter is six and a huge baseball fan. This is perfect way for us to document our visits. She's a diehard Red Sox fan, so we're hoping to get to Fenway this summer. Going to visit Coors Stadium too, as my brother lives in Colorado so we're going to visit and take in a Rockies game. Thanks again for this website---it's really great! :)

  • Cathy Zavala

Thanks Craig! Love the website. We all have a common love & everyone is so friendly & helpful. Excited to go on our trip & share our shenanigans! :)
  • Matthew B

Hey Craig. Actually on an east coast trip right now! 11 parks + college world series. In Boston right now. 2 more to go. Take care!
  • John svetina

    Hi Craig
Miller Park, Wrigley, and Cellular in August. I want to see the baseball parks mostly but I will go to just about any sporting event.
  • Steve Brunner

    Hi Craig,

My son and I are heading to Kauffman Stadium next Wedneday then over to Busch Stadium!

  • Jeff Selman

I just got back from AT&T, I must say...one of the most beautiful stadiums I've been to. I have only been to 6 stadiums, but one of my bucket list items has always been to visit every stadium. Since I am an LA native my next trip will probably be down the road to SD or Ari.

  • Nathan Weinman

Hi Craig! Thanks for the welcome! I've been to Tiger Stadium in Detroit and Turner field in Atlanta so far this year. I hope to make it to Wrigley before October....I'll need tips I'm sure!

  • Lori Pain

Thanks Craig; just added US Cellular last week and saw a great game between the White Sox and Baltimore. It's good to know that there are people who share the same interests and can give advice whenever there are any questions.

  • Rick Van de Laar

Thanks Craig. I won't be adding new ballparks (or revisiting new ones)this year. But next season I plan to add to my collection. Don't know yet which one(s) though.
I'll keep on eye on this site for insider tips !
    Cheers, Rick.
  • Michael James Davis

Thanks Craig, This season I have made return trips to Atlanta, Cincinnati, Arizona. My ballpark this season to cross off was PNC Park(instant winner as soon as I walked in) on June 15th, an extra innings affair with the Dodgers. I would like to get in one more on my list this season with the likely being Baltimore which would leave me 3 to complete on my MLB list next season, to Milwaukee, Tampa, and Miami. I see Safeco is your homepark. I spent 4 years in the Seattle area, my time 1996-2000, crossed with me attending the last game at the Kingdome and the First game at Safeco Field. I havent been back up to Safeco since the end of that first season in 1999. So, I'm due to get back up to Pacific Northwest.
    Thanks for website, Michael

Thanks Craig, I appreciate the offer. Is it worthwhile to visit McCovey's Place, is there anything around the area to take advantage of. Also, looking at buying the Go Card which includes a 2 hr tour of AT&T Park, have you experienced the tour.
Bought tickets on stubhub for games in SF, LA, should I consider getting tickets from them also for SD, or is it safe to get a good seat at the ticket office.

    Bob

Thanks Craig, I'll post a review if I get to these.

    So excited!

  • Julie Esler

Thank you, Craig. I just stumbled upon this site today. I was trying to plan a trip to CLE or HOU next month, but the plane flights are ridiculous. So, now thinking about HOU in Sept. Gotta go to one to continue my 1 new park per year.

  • Julie Esler

Hey Craig, for the Ballpark map, I think you should also add the old stadiums, like Old Yankee Stadium and Shea. They count too!

  • Sean Mahoney

Hey Craig. I had a trip planned to Chicago, and Milwaukee this summer, but I had to cancel it. I'm hoping next year to see a few new parks, but not sure where yet.

Wrigley was awesome, and Wrigleyville was even better! Such history and passion. I really like what you're doing here, the advice section for each team is a great idea. I just joined, but I like what I see so far and can share some more comments when I spend some more time on here. Thanks again!

  • Cindy Day Erwin

Thanks Craig!! My son (10yo) and I try to make it to 2 parks each year and we did Reds and Dodgers in 2013. That makes 12 down! Jim Wood, an old pal from childhood, let me know of your site. Thanks for the creation of it! Cindy

  • David (27-30)

I might be in Seattle on sept 6-7-8 2013
  • David (27-30)

    What's a good hotel in Seattle ?
  • Shaunna S

Thank you! Just going to Cleveland this weekend (already been)....they have spectacular fireworks!

Hoping to get some post-season baseball here in pittsburgh!

  • Jerry Koenig

My baseball buddy is planning a small trip to Minnesota, with a stop at the Field of Dreams (special event going on), then on to St. Louis for a game. I would love to go if I can. We are driving from Indy to Chicago this weekend to attend the large Natl. Collectors Convention, should be able to find some cool Baseball stuff there.

  • Andrew Dousa

Hi Craig, thanks for reaching out. My son (14 y.o., die hard baseball player) and I (his die hard coach) are road-tripping this coming week: Orioles on Sat and Sun, Nats on Mon, Phils on Tues, Mets on Weds. Was going to scour the website tonight and see what it's all about, but it looks like it is exactly what we are looking for. I saw a post on the site about best places to eat, and since we are big time Diners Drive-ins and Dives fans, we hope to catch some local flavor in these cities.

We will try to do the same thing next year - Cleve, Pitt, etc... and I'm sure this website will help us plan it out.

    Andy

  • LeRae Huntford

Thank you for the welcome and for creating such a great page! I definitely want to hit Wrigley this year before the modernization happens. Looking now to see what other ballparks I can attach to my journey next week.
  • Eric Schwartzman

Thanks Craig for the greetings and welcome. Just got back from a road trip where my kids and visited the Trenton Thunder, the Bowie Baysox and the Washington Nationals. No new trips scheduled. Perhaps just local MiLB parks to the NYC / Tristate area. Thanks again and look forward to enjoying the group.
