Craig, Thanks. This year we started the tour. We went to Progressive Field (hometown), US Cellular Field, Wrigley Field, Kaufmann Stadium, Busch Stadium and just went this weekend to Fenway Park. We have a trip planned for PNC park in September and then will continue next year. We also have went to quite a few minor league games including Rubber Ducks (akron), Scrappers (Niles), River Dogs (Charleston, SC), and Lake County Captains (Eastlake). This is a great site! Thanks!
Craig, thanks for the welcome. No new parks yet this year, but I have plans for DC and Philly in September. Taking a week to spend on the east coast to catch Jeter's last game at Yankee stadium, and book ending the trip with DC and Philly. Going to sneak in a Jet's game too that week since my Bears happen to be in town.
It's a nice site you got. I like the widget with the listing of current ballparks. I definitely like the idea of including minor league and defunct stadiums. I will be going to Cincinnati this weekend and a St. Paul Saints game soon. I also hit PNC park for the first time this year. Very nice stadium. My only other suggestion would possibly to add the other big 4 sports like stadium journey.
I plan on going to the trop to see the rays om sep 21 First mlb trip for my 18 month. Should be exciting. Do u know how long it takes for the passport by any chance. I was thinking og stsrting. Thank you for adding me
Thanks for the comment. Yes, hit a new park this season. Last month I traveled to NY for the 1st time and was able to visit Yankee Stadium for the 1st time. Disappointed I never made it to the old stadium. Went to a Rays/Twins game at Target Field on a Sunday and Rangers/Yankees game the next day...also a 1st - 2 games, back to back days, in different parts of the country.
Suggestion: Add a section to track the "retired" stadiums as well. Enjoying the site so far. Strong work!
Thanks for welcoming us to your site. It's a great site for people who have the common interest of hitting all the parks! I have been to about 15 myself but I am only tracking the stadiums that both Kristin & I go to together. This year we were able to hit Milwaukee, Wrigley, and US Cellular but next year we are doing all 7 western parks in 16 days - Can't wait!
Thanks, Craig! My 19 year-old daughter is on a kick to visit all the MLB ballparks. We live in San Diego and this season we saw games at Petco Park, Dodger Stadium, and Angels Stadium! It was fun to visit the other ballparks! We will probably aim for Oakland and San Francisco next, but that will have to wait until next season. How about you? What parks did you visit this season?
Hi Craig! Thanks for the message. Yes, I managed to visit stadiums in Detroit, Milwaukee, Minnesota, Cleveland and Cincinatti, as well as going to Fenway again.
Hey, tghanks for the welcome Craig! It's a great year for baseball - Both Nats and Os are headed to the playoffs, and I got to PNC and Fenway this year! I can't seem to get the ballpark widget to work, keep getting this error message - nitialization failed: please check the API key, swf location, version and network availability
Thanks for the welcome - excellent website! It was a great "chasing" year for me. I saw a game in Cincinnati this summer which finally gave me #30 of 30 (again). I had reached #30 a few years back, but they kept building new ballparks :-). It looks like the next stop is in Atlanta in 2017.
Hey Craig, thanks for sharing the USA Today article! I knew about it...Joe Mock is a friend of mine and he actually solicited my opinion on the matter, which I thought was very cool. Thanks again!
Hey Craig, thanks for the welcome! 2014 was a good year. Got my ballpark total up to 11 - did the first 7 last year, and got to 4 this year. In order of new stadiums: Comerica Park, Coors Field, PNC Park, Turner Field. First forays into the AL and NL Central, and only have the Arizona Diamondbacks before I finish off the NL West.
Going to explore the website more this weekend, glad I found it!
Hey Craig -- thanks for the welcome. Love the site. 2014 was good for us. We caught a couple of games in ATL (the closest to home), a couple in Detroit (because there was nothing else to do in Detroit), one in Toronto, and toured the HOF right before induction Sunday, so Cooperstown was packed with old legends. My kids could not comprehend the concept of paying for signatures. We topped off the trip by catching the AAA Syracuse team -- the Nats affiliate play the Braves AAA team. Great week of baseball. Looking forward to next summer.
still going through baseball withdrawal that I get every November. . so I'm working on 2015 baseball trips. Doing the last 4 on my list - the 2 in NYC, Toronto, and Boston for the last one.
Hi Craig, thanks for welcome. We are thinking about catching the Cardinals (the team of my childhood) in Colorado this year. We were thinking of visiting your hometown ballpark, but decided to wait until my daughter is a little older to fly her anywhere. Thanks for creating this wonderful site!
Thank you for the welcome! We have nothing set in stone this year but really hoping to see a few games on the east coast this year. We did Dodger Stadium last year.ready for the season to begin!!
Thanks for the message. Haven't found anyone yet, but I'm still looking.
In the meantime, I'm working on a piece about Spring Training that is due next week. Not exactly sure when it will run, but it should be relatively soon.
Thanks Craig! I must admit, shamefully, that I have not had a chance to fully check out this site yet. However, from the limited bit I have looked at, I am excited. I didn't realize how many others are "taking the stadium tour" as I am!
Yes, we have a trip for 2015: a game in each park. We start in Phoenix on opening day and finish in Los Angeles in early July. I have a spreadsheet schedule that I hope doesn't get too screwed up!
If you're interested, I have an occasionally updated blog at http://takemeouttotheballpark.blogspot.com/. As our trip gets closer, I'll update more often. I'm glad I found this website!
Thanks for the welcome! So excited to find this site. We are planning a trip to Minnesota and trying to work out where are second baseball trip will be. We went to your hometown park a couple of years ago and loved it - saw a perfect game there.
Thanks for the welcome Craig! Planning on flying into Houston in April for a game and then driving to Arlington for Opening Day for the Rangers. Bonus that I get to see the Astros again (favorite team). Try to hit one stadium a year. St. Louis last year, Atlanta the year before. Great site! Would love to see a list of top 5 things to see in each area around the stadiums.
Hey Craig, thanks for the welcome. You have a cool thing going here with this website.
No immediate plans as of yet this season but I'm hoping to catch a few games out of town for sure. Haven't fully explored the site extensively yet but my first thought was to keep a personal checklist of 'ballparks visited' to display on your personal profile. Let me know if I'm missing this. Thanks again.
Thanks Craig.
Unfortunately our trips won't fit in with the ball season, but we are planning an off season stadium tour of the East coast. Will be seeking info shortly to get planning underway for 3 baseball mad kids.

Thanks Craig, Don't know if any BPs are in the plans for 2015, hoping to do Tropicana again in July maybe or Back to Toronto in May. Going to be a quiet 2015 for going to Japan for my 50th Bday next year and putting $ towards that trip. Will probably stay local and do close BPs
Hey Craig, thanks for the welcome, and congrats on a great web site. I don't think I'll make it to any new ball parks this year, but will probably get to both Washington Nationals and Baltimore, as my son lives in the DC area. Looking out my window at a whiteout snow storm makes me long to hear the umpire call Play Ball! It can't come soon enough. Take Care.
Thank you for the welcome! I'm looking forward to sharing my experiences in ballparks with the folks here, and to hearing others' experiences as well. I could potentially be heading to Los Angeles in August, where I would hope to catch a Dodgers and/or Angels game. I'll probably also be going to a few Nationals and Orioles games, as I live in the Beltway area. Any seating/parking advice for either LA stadium would be nice!
Thank you for the welcome to this great site...I am excited to be a member here now. I have tickets for opening day in Philadelphia so I am really looking foward to that as I have never been to Philly before. Also have Detroit in the works for this season.
Thanks Craig. I just bought tickets for an upcoming baseball road trip this year. I am traveling south from Oregon with my brother and some friends. We will visit Oakland on 5/26, L.A. on 5/27, San Diego on 5/28, Anaheim on 5/29, then back up north to San Francisco on 5/30 before heading back home.
We're looking forward to it. I've been to every one of those parks but San Diego, but am looking forward to doing them all in a row with some friends. I thought I would check out what your site has to offer, but haven't done much looking around yet. I will as the trip gets closer--it looks like a nice resource.
Yes, I plan on visiting the Miami Marlins the end of April. I may be going by myself. I was wondering how safe the area was around the ballpark. Thanks.
Hey Craig thanks for the welcome ! I live in Montreal and miss our Expos and live baseball terribly. We do have a couple of games coming here at Olympic stadium in April . Reds vs Mets.
I plan on visiting several stadiums thus summer. My wish list includes Pitsburgh, Baltimore, Yankees, Mets. Also possibly on a separate trip, Cleveland, Detroit & St-Louis.
Make sense ?
I look forward to looking through your website. Are there suggestions on hotels & travel tips ?
Hey Craig. Great website! Yes, this year I'm just looking for one stadium to do by itself. My father, brother, and I are leaning towards Coors field since it's not really close to any others.
Hi Craig! Thanks for the welcome. I actually found your website while planning my upcoming trip. My son and I are headed to FL and GA this summer. Any tips suggestions for places to eat and any safety warnings needed for FL or GA ballparks. My son is 14. Thanks!
Hello Craig! I have a couple planned so far. A buddy and I are going to go to quite a few games at our home stadium Busch Station to see our beloved Cardinals play like we do every year. This season we hope to make some new trips, maybe to Chicago, Milwaukee, Cincinnati or even Pittsburgh. We are thinking mainly keeping it a NL Central summer with the exception of possibly making the trip out to KC!
My wife and I are taking a trip in June and will visit Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Washington, and Philadelphia so we will cross four more ballparks off the list!

So far this year, I visited two new stadium - Chase Field and Turner Field. I was hoping to get at least two more, but plans fell through....
My ultimate goal is to visit all 30 stadiums in one summer, while road tripping it in an RV! If all goes to plan, that will be in three years!
Thanks again!
