Thanks! We are headed to Philly to watch the Royals play there early July. My son is headed to Toronto to watch the royals play there.... Also in July.
Hi Craig, earlier this month. I went to PNC, Camden, Citizens, and Yankee stadiums. Nothing else planned this year other than Angel games and maybe a Petco.
Hi Craig. My next park to visit is Fenway. I will be seeing the Red Sox host the Angels on July 3rd. It will be a Sunday and a day game. How about you?
Craig Thanks for the welcome! I just made a quick day trip to Target Field, and looking to get to PNC Park in July for a weekend, possibly KC, Cleveland, Cincy, and Denver for other potential trips later this year.
I'm planning a quick trip July 22 and 23. I'll see the Padres play the Nats in Washington on 7/22, and will see the Indians play the Orioles at Camden Yards on 7/23. This will be my 1st trip to Nationals Ballpark, and my 3rd trip to Baltimore. Can't wait!
Hey Craig, already have been to the Birmingham Barons several Nashville Sounds games including this past weekend and going this weekend. I started planning a trip last night to the Bowling Green Hot Rods, any experience at that ballpark?
Hi Craig, thanks for nice welcome. My husband and I along with my brother in law just made it out to PNC Park and had a very good time. We always use your website for great tips but finally signed up since we really enjoy the site. Thanks again!
Hi Craig, The National Ballpark Museum has many visitors that are making the great ballpark tour. Our museum just adds a bit of history to that chase. We enjoy all the stories that are shared with us! We are a 501(3)(c) Thank you for the welcome note.
We have many, many guests that are Ballpark Chasers! Now they adding the old ballpark sites to their list and find the collection at the NBM historically interesting. Always, they are great guests and I learn new facts about some of the old parks. What a privilege it is to share the old parks with them. Being so close to Coors field does not hurt either! The Phillies are in Denver this weekend and we are happy to have them as guests, had one of the minority owners of the Phillies stopped into the museum for a tour. As always thank you for your support of the museum, a 501(3)(c).
Hi Craig, My family and I have been going to a different ballpark every year since I was born. I turn 18 this year. I was born during the homerun "chase" between Sosa and McGwire and was named Chase so my parents thought it would be neat to go to a different ballpark every year. I believe we will be attending Philadelphia, Washington or Baltimore this year but haven't finalized it yet. Thanks for the website. This is really cool!
While in KC the other day, I had the pulled pork mac-n-jack sausage. Pepperjack sausage topped with pulled pork, spiral mac and cheese and bacon crumbles, served in a bun.
Great eats on this trip: Shrimp walking taco in St. Louis; The loaded baked potato in Houston; Brisket Frito pie in Arlington. The baked potato in Houston was the best. 3 game, 3 day road trip.
My brother and I started the ballpark chase this year. Coors Field is our home field so we started there. We went to Kauffman Stadium and Busch Stadium in July and Chase Field in August. Coors Field aside, our favorite so far is Busch Stadium.
I ended my trip a week early. I therefore went back to Cinci for Labor Day weekend and am now at 28 ballparks. Just the 2 NY parks to go.
As for the site, I think there should be a section with tips for where to get tickets, parking and anything else that would make it special when visiting a specific park. It would be a thread for each ballpark.
Hello Craig! We had planned to visit 2 this month but it's unfortunately been postponed. We're from Tampa so obviously we've seen many Rays games. So far we've been to Old and New Yankee Stadium, Wrigley Field, The Washington Nationals, & the White Sox. Our youngest son gave up baseball for marching band and we have to get our "fix" somehow.
Hey Craig - the boy & I just finished the East Coast Tour that included Fenway Park, Citi Field, Yankee Stadium, Citizens Bank Park, Nationals Park & Camden Yards (the best so far). Does it count if the Nat's weren't in town but we did see Bruce Springsteen perform instead?! We had to back the next day for the Team Store passport validation and pennant purchase.
This summer I've visited for the first time Tacoma Rainiers, Arizona Diamonbacks, San Diego Padres, LA Angels, LA Dodgers, Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee Brewers, Cleveland Indians, Detroit Tigers, Toledo Mudhens,St.Louis Cardinals, Colorado Rockies, Texas Rangers, Frisco Roughriders, and Minnesota Twins. I missed out on Chicago White Sox because my plane was delayed by 6hrs. At the end of the month I am going to see the Oakland A's and the San Francisco Giants.
I am a ballpark chaser for my son, who is 11. This summer he went to his 12th (Giants) and 13th (Nationals) ballparks. He is a Tiger's and Cub's fan. He threw out the first pitch at the Astro's game last summer.
This year I've visited Fenway, Marlins Park, Busch, both Chicago parks, Camden Yards, and Cincinnati. I enjoyed Camden Yards the most but sitting in the monster seats at Fenway for the first time was fun. Your site plus the book Ultimate Baseball Road Trip made it easy to travel and get the most out of the experience.
I have not had much time to get to games this summer. I went to the Stampede in Cincinnati but have already been there once before. My baseball stadium buddies and I will be visiting Turner Field for the last two games ever when they play out Tigers!!! Looking forward to it should be a great time.
my brother and I did complete the dream to finish all 30 sites 7 year project one week per year. this year was 2 and half weeks to do the whole west coast seattle, Oakland, sanfran, dodger, angels, padres and diamondbacks, we had a few off days went thru las vegas and went to the grand canyon. great trip many memories and got to do them all with my brother!
Thanks for the welcome Craig. yes I visited Wrigley, Target Field, and Miller Park this summer. It is hard to get the teams that are fairly close together to play at the same time. So now we will need to go back to Chicago to see the White Sox but maybe fit in Detroit and Toronto on that trip. My sons try to go too and can't take off too much time from work at once. I like your website. Take care.
It was fun going to all the ball parks this year and completing my last one will be a great accomplishment which is the San Diego Padress . I been going. On my off days which are Tuesday and Wednesday's , and that's a lot of traveling . My favorite is San Francisco Giants , Yankees , St. Louis , Miami Marlins , then Pittsburgh are my top 5 parks .
Sorry to just respond. Still getting the hang of the page. Yes, I did visit seven new ballparks this year, all MiLB. Three in AAA, three AA and one in the NY-Penn League. Hashing out ballpark goals, some of which may be seeing every MiLB ballpark in NY (two left), seeing the remaining NYPenn League teams (six left), seeing every affiliate of my favorite team (the Yankees, and three so far), seeing an affiliate of all 30 teams (22 so far), seeing every AAA and AA ballpark (12 each so far), seeing a ballgame in all 50 states (over 30), etc. Tom
Yes, was a fun summer. I'm pairing ballpark travel with National Park travel to cover as much of the country as I can: National Park sites by day and then ballgames at night. Already know one weekend next year will involve seeing the Bisons and (if f they are still there, and my guess is they will be) the Batavia Muckdogs, along with the only NPS site in western NY I haven't seen. Fun, exciting way to let itineraries kind of design themselves.
It was fun visiting all the parks which I will probably visit all the stadium again next season as well . My top 3 are 1. San Francisco
2. New York Yankees
3. St Louis Cardinals
Just checking this page between the Wildcard Games, and in rereading the thread I realize I knocked off that last National Park site late in the Fall. So, I still have the two western New York ballparks to hit. Since I no longer have that missing NP site to visit, I can perhaps add a ballpark in western or Central PA. Hmmm. Love mulling possible trips like this. Anyway, hope your winter is going well, Craig!
In 2016 we visited Yankees, Pittsburgh and Tampa! All very good experiences. This year we are planning Mets, Toronto and either Boston or Cleveland! If you have any good recommendations for any of these ballparks, i'd love to hear them.
Love your site and use it to get info before I travel. Wish I could "check off " the parks I've been to, maybe on my home page & leave a few notes. Also wish I could print out the info a little easier.
I was at Miller Park last weekend and ended up talking with a group ticket sales rep who is a Chaser himself. He visited all 30 on a bike tour a couple of years ago. He wanted to reach out to the group to see if he can help with setting up the meetup this year. Please send me a message in my inbox here, and I can pass his contact information along to you. I cannot seem to figure out how to add you as a friend on here.
Question for you- where on here would I post to see if anyone was heading to the same game as me? Some of the cities I may do solo, and it would be great to have a stadium buddy!
Thanks! I plan on going to Dodger, Petco and Angel Stadium next year. Twins schedule worked out perfectly... We play 2 with the Dodgers, have an off day which the Padres have a home day game on, and than the Twins have 3 with the Angels.
Couldn't reply to your response in my inbox.
So, Craig,
Yes we are still week-end season ticket holders. So far the only games we won't be at are the mid-May and a couple if not all of the Toronto games. We are scheduling any trips away from home when the Ms are not at home.

Obviously you have to go to Boog's. I also had the Crab Mac n cheese dog. Both were great. Baltimore is #1 on my stadium list, you will love it.
