The "elevator" ride is the worst part. You sit in a tiny carriage that shifts over then up a few feet at a time all the way to the top....very cramped and very hot. It should only fit about 3 people, but I was stuffed in with a family of four....not fun.

And my thing is I struggle with elevators (claustrophobic). How is the elevator ride to the top?

I hate heights too...I was up there just long enough to take the pic...then headed down!

Been to STL several times... could never get myself to go up there. Beautiful view!! I have however stayed 2 nights at the Millinnium Hotel, with an amazing view of the Arch from my room :)
