After reading some blogs I thought I would add my own. My granddaughter and I are headed to the West Coast this June. We are going to six ballparks in two weeks. Hi Kathy! You will love San Diego. I would suggest the trolley form Old Town. It is a quick, easy ride and a free parking lot. Also you can stroll "Old Town" a touristy place but lots of shops and food. I would also suggest Little Italy! Little Italy is filled with Italian restaurants (of course) and is about half way between the Old Town trolley station and the ballpark...there is a trolley stop in Little Italy so it is worth it if you have the time.
As for the Dodger game...I agree with John McDade....the bleachers in the outfield are fine...but they definitely like the home team and will heckle you if you are sporting the opponents gear!
Seattle and San Francisco are beautiful parks...Oakland...ehhhhh.
Being a native San Diegan,,,if you need any questions answered...just send me comment.
