I will be visiting my first out-of-town ballpark of the season in April. I am going to go to the Marlins v. Mariners game on April 19th. I wanted to get to Miami last year, but wasn't able to, so I'm really looking forward to it this year! I'll only be in town for the day, flying out the next morning, but I was able to make it work with my schedule. If anyone is interested in meeting up at the game let me know.
I've made a few changes to the schedule for this season:
Game 1: August 25, 2013, Red Sox at Dodgers, Dodger Stadium
Game 2: August 30, 2013, Angels at Brewers, Miller Park
Game 3: August 31, 2013, Phillies at Cubs, Wrigley Field
Game 4: September 1, 2013, Indians at Tigers, Comerica Park
Game 5: September 2, 2013, Orioles at Indians, Progressive Field
Game 6: September 3, 2013, Cardinals at Reds, Great American Ballpark
Game 7: September 7, 2013, Rockies…

Game tickets - When I read Will Leitch's 30 Games in 30 Days, I was surprised that he decided "I'll get the cheapest upper deck tickets possible." Is he nuts? He spends $300+ flying in, taking a cab, and staying a hotel, but he wants to save a little money on the game ticket? The game is the reason you're doing this. Stay in a less expensive hotel. Take public transportation. But when you're spending this much money getting there you should sit in the seat you want to sit…

Apparently, the Mets have Bark at the Park days, when you can bring your dog and sit on the Pepsi Porch. Never thought I would do this, but bought a ticket for April 6th for me, my wife and our puppy if any NYC-area dog owners might be interested in joining. Baseball and dogs...together at last! It benefits the North Shore Animal League.

The first thing to remember when going on a baseball stadium road trip is why you're doing it. You want to see the game! Since the games have fixed starting times, you may need to choose a more expensive flight or travel at an early hour. But really what's the point of going when you only see half the game? If you can't make it work that you see all of it, skip that city.
Trip Length - I've scheduled multiple games, usually three, on all my trips. If you schedule three games in three…

Hey guys!
I'm new to this site so just browsing around. So far I've been to 7 MLB Stadiums.
1. Citizens Bank Park
2. Yankee Stadium
3. Tropicana Field
4. Nationals Park
5. Great American Ballpark
6. Citi Field
7. Camden Yards
This wanting to visit all 30 ballparks mission came into play back in 2009 when I got to visit Tropicana. I figured if I could go to a ballpark outside of the Philly/New York area I could visit all 30. This season I…

My friend and I are on our second year of our baseball roadtrip. First year was mid-June with games in Cleveland, Pittsburgh, both New York teams, Boston, and Washington D.C. This summer we are planning 2 weekend trips; first one is in July with a Friday night game in Milwaukee and Saturday and Sunday games in Minneapolis. We have another trip in mind and that is Coors field. We are planning to leave on a friday afternoon/evening out of Chicago (our home city) and fly into Denver. Any advice…

Our 3rd annual summer baseball roadtrip date has been decided. May 15-18. This year we are going to hit Toronto, Boston and the Hall of Fame. Starting from Detroit, Thurday night in Toronto, Friday in Boston(against the Tigers), Saturday Hall of Fame, Sunday driving back home.
Any ideas on some must see spots would be nice, but the biggest question I have is How long does it take to go through the Hall of Fame??. We'll be going before Memorial day so the hours I believe are 9-5.…
