NOT QUITE AT 30, BUT HERE ARE MY NOTES AND RANKINGS

Like many of you it is my goal to one day venture out to all 30 MLB ballparks. Right now, I have been to 17 of the current 30 stadiums, however, I may be slowed down right now as reality has set in, you know, job lay off, time to look for work. Looking back at my preseason picks, I hit on 50% of the teams to make it to the post-season (Phillies, Braves, Rays, Twins). I'll stick with my AL pick of the Rays to make it to the WS to face the Phillies in a rematch of the 2008 WS.

Quest Complete!!!

This past Saturday at Sun Life Stadium I completed for the 2nd year in a row the Quest of getting to a regularly schedule game at all 30 MLB ballparks in one season.

This season for me was all about raising awareness and funds for the SADS Foundation in memory of my wife Shawn Marie. I had set a goal of $10,000 for the summer and with the corporate sponsors we are currently at $18,300 and will top $20,000 in the coming days. To everyone - but Chuck Booth in particular as the apparent "record keeper" guy for all this.

When we complete our "all current ballpark" quest next April in Tampa and Miami do we qualify for anything?

How about:

Youngest to get to all Ballparks (Evin Bell - 16yrs, 2mos, 19 days)

The Finish Line !!!

2011 Schedule out - plan set - rooms booked.

4/16 Minn at Tampa; 4/20 Pitt at Miami.

That makes all 30 current parks !!!!

Until 2012 then we will have to head back to Miami to add the new Marlins Ballpark.

PLEASE - stop with the new Ballparks already (this is getting expensive!!!)

2011 mlb schedule has been released!!

ATTENTION ALL BASEBALL FANS,

The 2011 mlb schedule was released tonight. Being a Cubs fans thats the 1st team schedule I checked.

The Cubs open at home friday April 1st(no joke) vs. Pittsburgh. The Yankees make their 2nd trip (1st trip was June 2003) to Wrigley Field June 17-19. Interleague road trips include Kansas City June 24-26 and Boston May 20-22. Looks like I will visit Fenway Park next year for the 1st time.
