That sounds like a good book title, dont it?  "My Trip With Chuck"? :) lol  Anyway, after our 2010 trip fell thru, this trip will be awesome!  Got 5 weeks from Thursday.  Can't wait to pick him up at the airport in Seattle on the 19th!

Last year my wife and I got married on July 22nd and then took off from New York to see the ballparks of the midwest.  We enjoyed it so much that this summer we are repeating our trip but travelling further south through Texas and up through Denver and Kansas City.  The parks we have planned for this summer are:

Houston- Minute Maid Park

Arlington- Texas Rangers Ballpark at Arlington

Denver- Coors Field

Kansas City- Kauffman Statium

I have been on many of Julian's trips, they have all been great!

Days after I wrote the update to my 30 ballpark, 30 day plan, things began to finally come together. I had to make a final set of schedule alterations, but the blind baseball traveler is now 55 days from the ultimate baseball dream.

I’ve managed to also make arrangements with a few teams so far to see the field, particularly in the outfield where the ballparks have their personality or lack thereof.

So I've got two baseball trips in the works for 2012.

Trip 1:

Dodgers, Padres, Arizona.  Having lived in San Diego for 6 years, Arizona will be the only new stadium for me.  Nevertheless we will be traveling via RV, which is the coolest mode of transportation there is.  This will be a short but sweet 4 day trip, seeing the stadiums on consecutive days.
