I am psyched since my big 2009 roadtrip got cancelled, I am looking for a late april roadtrip and I think I found it with a quick look at the schedule.
I could potentially knock off 9 stadiums in 14 days. Including new Target Field! And get to see the Mets (the 2010 NL East Champions...LOL) twice!!! woo hoo
Lots of driving but with me and a few folks we could do it!!!
here is what I found....(home team listed first)
Houston vs Pittsburgh 4/24
Texas vs…

So I went to Cleveland to see the Yankees/Indians game and went on priceline.com hoping to get something pleasent enough to not want to run out at 3am kind of hotel.
I bid $40.00 expecting to get a days inn or something like that...imagine my suprise when the Hyatt Cleveland Arcade, one of the highest priced Cleveland hotels on the Progressive Field Chasers Guide popped up. The normal night in that hotel is 229.99!!
So anyone planning on Cleveland, take a chance on…

When I made my plans to go to Nats Park, I had very little in terms of my expectations. The team is lousy at best most of the time, the stadium is in a run down area of town and to be honest, I was going to see two last place teams (Orioles) "battle it out"
Well let me say this...Nats Park was probably my favorite stadium in the past few years. The place was exceedingly clean, well taken care of and the sound and public address announcer was amazing.
The game was a 12…

NYS is my 10th stadium, and today's 9-1 (10 runs scored combined for my 10th stadium....the Gods were sending me signs....LOL)
The stadium was beautiful, less intimate and cozy then Citi Field or Oriole Park or Citizens....but still a great place to watch a game. I sat in the bleachers and found it to be quite enjoyable and a great place to watch the contest
Monument Park should have been at least half more of the size then it is....felt cramped and that the plaques and…

The only stadiums I see myself getting to this year are:
PNC Park - I have plans the 1st week of June to see the Bucs and Mets
Citizens Bank Ballpark - Friends in Philly and since I have never been I must go!
Tropicana Field - Only if the Rays are in the playoffs will I get a chance, since I wont be in Tampa/St Pete until 10/12 for a week
New Yankee Stadium - May 18th vs Baltimore
Nationals Park - I want to go, just to hang out in DC!
so that would add…

So I was down in Balto this past Tuesday to catch the O's and the Chisox....unfortunatly the rains and lightening came and with the game being delayed 1 hour and 38 minutes we had to head back home to NY before even 1 pitch was thrown.
It's ok, the tickets were comps as the O's are having a Birthday Month Free ticket program this month, it was really cool!
It's always great to be at OPACY, its the big brother of all the new retro stadium and for being 17 yrs old, it looks…
