Craig's status update inspired me to look into PBS' documentary about Fenway Park. Although I am a die hard Yankees fan until I die, it still looks like a great documentary. Thought I would share the preview...…
Finally! ESPN is airing "Catching Hell"! I have been waiting for this one ever since reading about it on Ballpark Chasers. The last I heard it was cancelled so much to my surprise ESPN is running ads that it is airing next Tuesday, September 27th. Anyone else interested in the documentary and story? You can see the mini preview here. October 14th is the anniversary- surprised they didn't wait a couple of week to premier this?

Have any Chasers seen this article? I wish I never had because now I will think about it every time I go to the ballpark. How did your local ballpark fare? Yankee Stadium had 32 critical violations including filth flies! Gross!
FOUL BALLS: Ranking The Worst Food Safety Violations At Major League Baseball Stadiums
ESPN just published these baseball odds. I thought it was pretty interesting.
There is a 1 in 11 chance that a game will go into extra innings.
There is a 1 in 325 chance that if you attend a game you will see a triple play and there is a 1 in 702 chance you will see a batter hit for the cycle.
There is a 1 in 806 chance you will see a no-hitter and a 1 in 2,610 shot that a batter will get six hits in a nine-inning game.
I was really excited to read this article about Ken Burns making another documentary about baseball. The article says he is making a 4-hour special on PBS about the last 16 years in Major League Baseball. I am really looking forward to this. Anyone else see "Baseball"?
I ran across this list of obstructed views at the new Target Field. Beware when you buy your ticket!
Here are the released obstructions so far:
• In Section 101, near the right-field foul pole, fans in lower-numbered seats (1 and 2, etc.) from rows 25 through 40 have a wall blocking parts of their outfield view. Those seats cost $32 for most games, $37 for premium games.
• In Section 139 (right field bleachers), some seats have a limited view of the outfield… Continue
Here is the answer to a future Marlins trivia question. Josh Johnson threw out the ceremonial first pitch last week on the grounds of the Marlins new ballpark site. I guess we know who their franchise player is...receiving $39 million dollars just moments before.
I am simply amazed by what this guy has done. To see every possible baseball match up, home and away is just unreal! Congratulations to John Salvo and his accomplishments. I wish he was on this site to share his stories. See link below...
Today is the last day to register for a chance at pre-season and opening day tickets at the new Yankee stadium. I am sure I wont win but its worth a shot.
Yankee Stadium held their final tour on Sunday, November 23, 2008. A group of 40 lucky people were the last ever fans to see the insides of Yankee Stadium in tact. Parts of the stadium have already been moved to the new site- including Monument Park. Demolition begins next March just as the new Yankee Stadium opens its… Continue
After 14 years the Red Sox organization decided not to raise their ticket prices for the 2009 season. Fenway Park seats have been sold out for 469 consecutive games and were the most expensive ticket last season ($48.80 on average). What does this mean? Well, $125 can still buy you a field box ticket. Yippee. What a joke! With this shaky economy that our country is facing and the consistent support from the Red Sox fans, you would think the organization would provide some sort of break. But its… Continue
