Josh arrived in Seattle, WA by plane on Sunday morning. He will not get on another plane until he has seen a game at all 30 ballparks in a record-setting 26 days, starting tonight at Safeco Field. He met Ken, the first of many people who will join him on this quest. They picked up their sweet rental car, a Pontiac Grand Am I believe (sorry guys, but Pontiacs are girls cars, it's a fact), and will be using this rental car to drive to each ballpark.
During my pre-trip interview with Josh today, he sounded rested, happy, and almost relaxed. He was crashed out at his comped room at the Homewood Suites Hilton Hotel, awaiting thirty27's first pitch at 7pm Pacific Time. They will watch Dan Uggla blast homeruns off Carlos Silva before leaving Seattle immediately following the game. Tomorrow they must be in San Francisco for a 7pm first pitch. It's a twelve hour drive, and plan on sleeping tomorrow afternoon at yet another comped hotel room. Josh said they've packed some fruit and granola, and Ken bought a case of Monster energy drink to support him during the overnight drive.
Tonight they'll be sitting at Safeco Field section 116 row 4 if you want to talk trash to Josh and Ken....
