Josh survived his latest Canadian border experiences on Wednesday, and watched Roy Halladay pitch against Aaron Harang in some excellent seats provided by the Blue Jays. Griffey popped a homerun and the Thirty27 team got to see the newest oldest Blue Jays manager, Cito Gaston.

The latest Thirty27 teammate, Jonny R., is the first team member to use coffee to stay awake on the overnight drives, shunning the Monster energy drinks. Everyone knows Josh does not need any caffeine to stay awake, he survives on his own nervous energy. Josh has started to sound a bit tired on the phone over the last few days though, but he says the games are still exciting and that is enough to keep him going. I can personally attest to Josh's ability to withstand long periods of boring driving and battle sleep deprivation at the same time. So, I have no doubts that he will complete this trip.

The Thirty27 team returned to the states yesterday, traveling to Cleveland to watch Cliff Lee win his major league leading 11th game. The game provided tons of nerves for the Thirty27 team. Thundershowers delayed the start of the contest, and Josh reported lightning all around the area. Josh made a nervous phone call to your trusty bloggister, me, wanting a weather forcast in the area. We even looked ahead on the schedule to July 12th. If the game were to get rained out, we might be able to add Cleveland on to the end of the trip, still finishing in 27 days. Luckily, that won't be necessary, since the game was played, and finished.

Today, the trip reached Chicago for the Cubs vs. WhiteSox Crosstown Classic. Josh sounded extremely rested and upbeat. I also believe this is the last game for Jonny. He will help Josh drive to Minneapolis tonight, and board a plane home tomorrow. Josh will pick up his wife, Suganya, to accompany him through the next eight games.
