Last year my wife and I got married on July 22nd and then took off from New York to see the ballparks of the midwest. We enjoyed it so much that this summer we are repeating our trip but travelling further south through Texas and up through Denver and Kansas City. The parks we have planned for this summer are:
Houston- Minute Maid Park
Arlington- Texas Rangers Ballpark at Arlington
Denver- Coors Field
Kansas City- Kauffman Statium
St. Louis- Busch Stadium
Chicago- Wrigley and U.S. Celluar
Cleveland- Progressive
While I'm a struggling Mets fan my wife is a Yankee fan and is very excited to see the Yanks in both Chicago and Cleveland. Anyone with any suggestions about hidden gems in these ballparks or cities please let me know. Also, we plan ondriving the whole way from New York so if you know of any must stops or watering holes we'd love to here it!

No problem, I signed up for the presale so I could get my Cubs @ White Sox tickets. I planned the trip before the schedule was made, and ended up choosing the upper reserved tickets.
Thanks, I just got the tickets. White Sox are playing the Yankees (My wife... Mrs. Yankee, is happy) so they were pretty expensive. We got some good seats for Wirgley and are seeing 3 games in Coors Field so we'll be all over. Thanks for all the help!
i would buy the tickets for the white sox early, they are using dynamic pricing and it will go up as the demand goes up. they have been on sale for a while so seating may be limited, but the cubs are playing the rockies during that stretch. cubs tickets went on sale this past friday, so it might not be too hard to get something. as for cleveland, they still have plenty of tickets available but their attendance isn't too good so you should find decent seats.
