OK, so I'm done again. Picked up #41, the new Yankee Stadium (the true Cathedral of the religion of baseball) last night. I'll be writing more about it later. But once again, my quest is complete until the new stadium opens in Minnesota next year.

Craig, thanks for the congrats but no need to bow down. I met a guy at the opening of Citi Field that I am in complete awe of. He attends opening and closing ceremonies of stadiums. He was at the closing of Shea and Yankee last year and at the opening of Citi Field and Yankee Stadium this year, doing a doubleheader between stadiums on one day. I thought my Philadelphia (Veteran's & Citizen's Bank Park)/New York (Shea) doubleheaders were something special until he rattled off all of the multi-city ones that he had done. He had also been to a total of 49 different stadiums. I told him to sign up here, I hope he remembers.

Very cool! I will hit # 41 on June 20th, can't wait!

Looking forward to a better explanation of calling the NEW Yankee Stadium, and I quote, "the true Cathedral of the religion of baseball". I mean, to me, at this point, it's just another ball park :) Curious why you would say that after, whats its been, 8 games played there??
