1. Breaking the Bank on Airline Tickets. This is very easy to do while gas prices are so high. The best thing to do is to shop around, take your time, and look for the best bargains. The more informed you are about the cost of traveling the better deal you will be able to find.
2. Buying Upper Level Tickets to U.S. Cellular Field. If you are heading to Chicago to watch the White Sox’s play, DON’T buy upper level seat tickets. You will not be able to explore different parts of the stadium. Seat hopping is almost impossible because the “gate keepers” will check your stub throughout the entire stadium. My suggestion is to spend a few extra bucks for bleacher seats.
3. Back Tracking to Cities you have already visited. Almost never (except when they are playing each other) will two teams in the same city play during the same week. The best thing to do is try to get there on a Sunday and stay on the off day (usually Monday) and catch the traveling team on Tuesday.
