Atlanta, Tampa, and Miami

Over Labor Day weekend I'm going to do Atlanta, Tamps, and Miami. I'm going to fly into Atlanta on Saturday, go to the ballgame, and then fly out Sunday morning. Can I get to and from the game in an hour or less using MARTA? If I stay by the airport, which hotel do you recommend?

I'm flying into Tampa Sunday morning and out Sunday night. It looks like there's no public transportation to get to and from Tropicana Field, so I guess I need to rent a car?

What about getting to the ballpark in Miami? Can I do it with Tri-Rail? I think I want to stay near the Ft. Lauderdale airport to make coming and going easier. Any recommendations?

Comment by gary faucon (21) on May 6, 2014 at 4:45am: i did a miami trip last year. i stayed in a hotel in ft lauderdale, drove to the hialeah end of the metrorail. took the shuttle bus from the culmer ave station. don't know if they have that this year, best bet is to check the metrorail website.
i'm going to atlanta over memorial weekend, using marta shuttle from 5 points. rist i elected to stay in a jw marriot right across the street from the lenox marta station. i got a decent price and i am there 2 nights allowing for some other tourist stuff as part of the trip. the marta website gives shuttle info and has a travel time chart
