While traveling around, I know that most older ballparks have a feature or two that make you associate that feature with the home team. For example; Ivy walls- Cubs, Green Monster- Red Sox, and fountains- Royals. However, most newer ballparks can be used interchangably by any team. The only exception I can think of off hand, is Comerica Park where the entrance has the big Tigers looking down at you. Kinda locks it in which team is there. Are there any others that dictate which team? Of course, most have memorials and statues or retired numbers out front, but remove them.....

Also there are the massive Angels hats at the entrace to their stadium, the apple at Citi Field, Founding Father mascots at Nationals Park, the beach colors of Petco (ocean-blue seats and sandy brown stucco walls), and the Liberty Bell at Citizens Bank Park. And the Flag Girls at Rangers Ballpark are certainly unique.

I think you only remember Wrigley and Fenway because of their ages. Every stadium has their on features that stand out. And they all look different now. Twenty years ago, during the combo stadiums, they all looked the same. I think the greatest feature today in multiple stadiums is the retractable roof. It allows outdoor baseball with real grass in places that would be very uncomfortable otherwise. Chase Field for the heat, Safeco Field for the rain, and Miller Park for the cold and snow.

Hal, never been to Tampa or followed the team, but hope to attend a game soon.
I do follow their AAA Durham Bulls and attend some games when they travel to Indy, Columbus, and Louisville.

Jim, some of those names are deep trivia answers. But then again, there are so many players that are linked to their teams such as Bob Gibson in St. Louis, Baltimore with Brooks, Blyleven in Minnesota, and maybe Dante in Colorado.

Bob, Tampa is home to Ted Williams Hitters Museum... and a ray petting tank in centerfield.
I would add to Oakland the initiation of colorful uniforms.

Let's take this one step further, which player, owner, manager, or event, etc. would identify with each team/stadium.

Those are good ones Tim.

I thought of two more for Marlins Park- the aquarium behind home plate and the bobblehead museum, although that's in the lower concourse and doesn't really identify with the ballpark.

I would say the tomahawk on top of the scoreboard for Atlanta and the sound of the chop.
