Alright.... The airlines wanted me to surrender my only child to fly into Seattle, so we opted for Denver instead this year. Flight and hotel is booked. I just need some advice on how to handle the ticket and the subsequent drinking when we get there. I have noticed that the tickets are pricey on the Rockies website, yet somewhat reasonable through StubHub. Any suggestions?

I got our hotel (Westin) off Hotwire and it was a deal... When are ya'll going to be there? We will be there Mid July.
Oh and Houston (home park) is a very nice park, but the public trans sucks, and its hit and miss around the park with stuff to do.
We just booked our trip to Denver this year too. The hotels seemed kind of expensive compared to Kansas City and Houston. I hope Coors Field is worth the hype!
Ethan,
There are enough hotels close by where you can walk back and forth to the stadium. As for drinking the old warehouse district has enough places where you don't have to worry about any places to party.
i usually go with Razorgator for tix, usually decent prices and you can decide exactly where u want to sit. tix are garunteed to be authentic. have fun
Hey Ethan!
I get all my tickets at fansnap.com because they put all the tickets for sale online together with the lowest price first and shows you on a map of the stadium where the tickets are. I don't know anything about the drinking situation but I thought I would tell ya about the website I use. Happy chasing!
Hi Ethan -
Tickets:
Last year, the local supermarket - King Soopers, provided a coupon on your receipt of you purchased $25 or more for up to 4 tickets at $15 each. Most of these seats were in the upper third level or pavillion. Wells Fargo also had a deal where you could purchase up to 4 club level seats for $25 each. Check here for some of the already announced ticket specials going on in 2012.
Drinking:
Check the Chaser Guide (upper right corner of page) for some ideas. The one that's not on there is Wyncoop (Local Brewery - 2 blocks from the left field entrance to Coors Field). That's the one I usually go to.
