Four Firsts for me!

Looking forward to a trip 3 weeks away, heading to Phoenix where a group of 4 buddies are meeting up, and I will be hitting four "firsts":

1) NCAA Final Four! Sorry, not baseball related, but I've been to 7-8 1st/2nd rounds of the NCAA Tourney, but never a Final 4! Was lucky enough to get tickets this year, after many unsuccessful attempts.

2) Spring Training! We will catch 2, possibly 3 games, as follows:

- 3/30 12:10 Rockies @ Padres at Peoria Stadium

- 3/30 6:40 Indians @ Diamondbacks at Chase Field

- 3/31 6:40 Rockies @ Mariners at Peoria Stadium

3) A Season Opener! Sunday 4/2 SF Giants @ Diamondbacks at Chase Field.

4) Chase Field is new for me too, I get to cross another stadium off my list!

Very excited for this trip, and looking forward to leaving rainy Portland, OR for a few days!

Sunday's was crazy with Bumgarner going 5 innings towards a shutout before anything happened for the Diamondbacks, and he also belted 2 Home Runs himself. Then more excitement with the Diamondbacks coming back for the 6-5 win in the 9th. Fun times!
