Man, what a series! I just got back from Detroit to watch the games. I'm so glad I went. I feel bad for the Tigers -- their fans were so kind to us, but also so pessimistic from the start.

We had a blast though.

Being a Tigers fan the choice is easy. I can hardly remember the 84 series (I was 9) so I'd love one that I can recall and share with my boys (20 & 9). World Series Game #3 tickets in hand, go get em Tigers!

Don't have a strong preference either way, but with the Giants being a NY national league team in the past and having Hunter Pence who played locally for 2 teams (tri-city valleycats- NYPenn league and Amsterdam Mohawks of the PGCBL currently; NYCBL when Pence was on the team) I follow a bit, I am leaning towards the Giants.

Tigers! Only because I am still bitter with the Giants coming back and taking down the Reds!
