Goodbye Metrodome

As a native Minnesotan, I'm looking forward to the MN Twins' move to the outdoor ballpark. Target Field will be a major upgrade... minus the snow in April and October. (Yes- the Twins play in October sometimes...)

The last game in the dome is Sunday, October 4th. Should be a fun game. I hope they're still in the race.

Comment by Junior (17) on October 15, 2009 at 12:40pm: Believe it or not, I actually liked the dome...It's going to be rough watching games in April, May and October without it. Target Park should've been built with a retractable roof like Seattle or Arizona. I have a lot of fond memories of the dome as a kid, but all good things must come to an end. Next time I visit my family in Mpls, I will have to check out the new ballpark to bring my current stadiums visited number back up.
