Remember if you are going to Alcatraz, get tickets ahead of time.. they sell out.

Love San Fran! Alcatraz is cool. Walking around fishermans wharf up to ghiradelli square takes up some time. Muir woods is good if you have time. Walking across Golden Gate Bridge is next on my list. Ride a cable car! San Fran has a lot to offer in a reasonably compact area. Oakland has some cool burbs but they are out away from stadium. Game in Oakland... Play time in SF.

Agree with the Alcatraz suggestion especially if you can do a night tour. Just make sure to not miss the last boat out!!! Walk across the Golden Gate Bridge. Get out to Muir Woods if you can. 1 of my favorite cities and then there is Oakland...

Plan on spending your free time in SF. There are lots to do in the City. Tourists like to visit Pier 39, which isn't too far from AT&T. I recommend touring Alcatraz if you have time, although plan a tour in advance as they fill up. Golden Gate Park is nice, and the new Science museum is pretty cool. You can get a cool view of the City atop Coit Tower. Lots of good restaurants, check out Little Italy area. Also, depending on how much time you have, Napa is about an hour away.
