Hello, I hope everyone had a Joyful Christmas. I'm snowed in here in OKC and figured I'd look into my plans for ballpark road trips in 2016.

First though a little about myself and where I've been. I just turned 40 recently and have been blessed to see many ballparks, both mlb and minors. I am a huge Dodgers fan and couldn't have been happier when the aaa team moved to OKC (sorry, Albuquerque). I've seen 2 games at Dodger stadium, the second being my most memorable game ever--Kershaw's no-hitter in 2014. Anyway, I have been to 17 major league and 8 minor league ballparks. I really enjoy going to the minor league ballparks and plan on seeing more this year. Amarillo was the oldest but the atmosphere was unique. Joplin's new ballpark is really cool for a small town. I've seen the most mlb games at coors field. I try to go up there every time the dodgers are in town. Bricktown ballpark is my home town park here in OKC. If anyone plans on coming to OKC the Bricktown area is a fun place to stay.

My future plans are to spend a week in Arizona in March. I will visit all the west area ballparks. I also plan on seeing more games in Denver. Other than that I am open. I try to do a small road trip and a longer road trip each year. I'm thinking of making a trip to Wichita, KC (t-bones), then back down to Joplin for my small trip. My larger road trip might be to drive to Denver and make a side venture to Utah and visit the 3 minor league parks there. Or I may make a Texas minor league road trip or head out to Memphis area....I haven't decided yet.
