May trip

Sometime in May my son and I will be driving to Detroit for a Tigers game and stopping in Cleveland, Pittsburgh, DC, and Baltimore and Philly to catch games there as well. Any recommendations on ticket sources, hotels, fun eating spots etc., are greatly appreciated.

I live in Detroit and I can tell you that the Tigers offer several discounted series tickets for home games in May. A lot of people don't have that time off here, as the schools don't get out until well after Memorial Day. Try looking on tigers.com. Since you are going in May, my friends and I have used StubHub and done quite well.

I would also imagine that Cleveland would have similar deals on seats in May. Hope this helps. Also, great food options around the park in Detroit and you are about a half mile away from the river. It's great!
