BALLPARK CHASERS HOSTS FIRST ANNUAL MEETUP
Denver, CO, August 13, 2014– Ballpark Chasers, an online social network for baseball and ballpark enthusiasts, is hosting its First Annual Meetup this weekend at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado.
The event kicks off on Saturday, August 16, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. MT at Lodo's Bar and Grill, a block from Coors Field. The group of more than 25 people will then travel around the corner to the National Ballpark Museum for a private tour scheduled with Museum Owner Bruce Hellerstein. The museum is known as the mecca for ballpark fans and anyone that loves baseball. After the museum tour, the group will take in the evening’s Cincinnati Reds vs. Colorado Rockies game.
Although Ballpark Chasers holds informal meetups for members around Major League Baseball throughout the season, this year marks the first time that the Ballpark Chasers community will gather as a large group to host a weekend of organized activities. Members voted during the offseason to start this new annual tradition in the Mile High city.
"We are thrilled to be in Denver and to take in a ballgame at one of Major League Baseball's top ballparks,” said Craig Landgren, Ballpark Chasers Founder. "We have members traveling from all over the country to take part in the events on Saturday.”
Although this is a sold-out event, anyone who is attending Saturday's game at Coors Field is encouraged to stop by section L315 to talk baseball and ballparks with the group. For further details on this event as well as to join the free online social network, visit www.ballparkchasers.com.
