After 14 years the Red Sox organization decided not to raise their ticket prices for the 2009 season. Fenway Park seats have been sold out for 469 consecutive games and were the most expensive ticket last season ($48.80 on average). What does this mean? Well, $125 can still buy you a field box ticket. Yippee. What a joke! With this shaky economy that our country is facing and the consistent support from the Red Sox fans, you would think the organization would provide some sort of break. But its not only the Red Sox, its all over Major League Baseball. It is so expensive anymore to take a family to the ballpark, stadium, arena, etc. But its our fault as well...we keep coming out every year, we keep supporting our teams.
