Yankee Stadium, Citifield and Red Bull Arena

I flew to New York and watched the Yankees beat the Red Sox 9-1, the Mets beat the Phillies 2-1 (Phillies got their first hit in the 7th with one out) and the Red Bulls beat Portland   2-0.  Crossing Bridges in New York is expensive.

I hope to see the first game of the Miami Marlins April 4.

I flew in on Friday to see Fridays night game with the Red Sox.  They waited until 7:05 to announce the cancellation.  The game was rescheduled for Sunday night.

During the Mets game I noticed there was no score posted for the Yankees game.  After the no-hitter was lost, I lost the games edge and walked back to my car to discover the Ynakees game started at 4:10.

I looked on the map and realized how high we were in regards to the Bronx.  I drove as fast as possible to get to 87 north.  I arrived and found a parking spot.  I asked the ticket vendor if she was enjoying a great Saturday.  I told her my gig was seeing all the sport facilities in North America and I was heading back Sunday morning.  She exchanged Fridays game with Saturdays game.  I stayed until the 7th Inning and left for Newark and Red Bulls Arena.

I'll be returning to see the Giants and Jets at the new Meadows Stadium.  If I fly into Liberty, I won't have to cross any more bridges!!!

I was at the same Mets game that you were at and stayed for the 2nd game of the doubleheader.

Agreed about the bridges and they take too long...but not surprised either.
