Milwaukee

Hi, we are thinking about going to Milwaukee this year. Looking at staying at the Doubletree Hotel. Do they offer a shutt,e service to and from miller park? If not, what is the best way of getting to the ballpark without driving.

If I were you, I would call the Doubletree to see if they have shuttle service to and from Brewers games. Me and some buddies are hitting a Brewers game on April 30th and I called Kelly's from the chaser guide and they told me that, "they are the closest restaurant/pub to Miller Park and that they have numerous shuttles going continuously before and after the games to get everyone to and from". We are driving to Chicago right after the game, so we don't want to get caught in the parking lot. Have a good trip.

That stadium is awesome. Great atmosphere and food. One of the things that really surprised me was that there were (free) shuttles from nearly every bar in town that take you right up to the ballpark, and you can drink on the shuttles. They also run from the stadium back to the designated bar. There should be a triangle sign in front of the bar that'll let you know if they have a shuttle.

Don't just rely on the shuttle from the bar and head into the ballpark at gametime for the pre-game experience. Brewers tailgating is unlike anything else in MLB. It's more like a college football game day. I never would've thought, before moving to Milwaukee, that I would advise people to block in some time to wander around a parking lot, but you won't regret it. If you do the restaurant/bar thing, consider Sobelman's or Szaz's They're Milwaukee institutions not far from Miller Park. Kelly's is also super close (just through a park and the Miller Park parking lots).

Hi Kyle- No, The Doubletree does not offer shuttles to Brewer games.

My buddy just stayed at the Ambassador Hotel. I just texted him and he said they did run shuttles to the game.
